This is a photo that would create conversation, intrigue and joy! The history of Venice was fascinating!
Thank you! It is an amazing city.
Hello from Down Under Mr.Potts 😊 absolutely beautiful, I love the stillness of the photo, crisp.. well done.. the history here is excellent. Now you just need the 400 hrs😊
Based on my previous attempt, it will take a lot longer than that :)
Absolutely beautiful presentation
Thank you!
Beautiful photo, and thank you for the history as well.
I'm glad you like them :)
Lovely, evocative photograph and some interesting bits of history. Thank you Michael!
My pleasure!
Very interesting. Love the final image.
Glad you enjoyed it
Michael, not only did you deliver a magnificent picture, but you also gave us a great history. Very informative and professional on many levels. Bravo.
Glad you enjoyed it
Watching all the steps you take to create your final image is so interesting, and it leads to a BEAUTiful final picture. So clever.
Glad you enjoyed it!
The beautiful photographs along with Michael's detailed discriptions made for an amazing episode.
Glad you enjoyed it
I'm longing for Venice but won't make it until 2025. Thank you for the beautiful video.
Enjoyed your video. Your creativity and works are stunning.
Thank you!
Very nice!
Thank you!!!
This is gorgeous. Really love the blurry-ness of it. Feels more like a Monet or slightly Impressionist and romantic rather than the extreme clarity and crispness of fine photography. You’re obviously excellent at the technical aspects but this is artistry as well. Really love it. Would love to have in my home. I’ll have to try to save up. 😊. I’m looking forward to seeing more of different landmarks like this in the future.
What a spectacular views of Venice….
Thank you! That is so lovely to hear. I really appreciate those kind words!
So nicely put. Thanks for expressing so well what I was thinking too.👍🏻🇨🇦
A beautiful photo Mr.Potts😊
Thank you kindly
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Another amazing vlog, lovely pictures
Thanks so much 😊
Lovely photo. I especially like how the gondola posts are prominent. I also enjoyed learning about gondolas. I'm sure if I tried to stand up and row a gondola I would end up in the water.
Haha, they are very tricky to row
Enjoyed this video, very informative and beautiful! Each video I notice and paying attention to more detail. Color is beautiful and yet I embrace Moody pictures too, showing shadows. Thank you Michael for showing and sharing a part of Venice! ❤ ☀️ 🌙

As always an educational video and beautiful images. Personally I loved the un filtered bright blue row of the gondolas. Would love to have that print.
I am working on a version of that - hopefully it will be up in the next few days.

Gorgeous. Really enjoyed your commentary, both the history and tutorial. I love love the black and white. As you were talking about the removal of the dust marks etal, it took me to Van Gogh’ s starry nights. How beautiful your shot would be with some added embellishments into the night sky.

Another great video, lots of wonderful photos and great stories to provide context. Were you as shocked as everyone else by the news of Lewis moving to Ferrari
Yes, I heard a bit of a leak but thought it was Ferrari negotiating with Sainz. I didn't expect it to ever happen, and not with a full year to go.
@@MichaelPotts-Photography yes should be an interesting year of photographs from the Mercedes and Ferrari garages
Beautiful photos!
Many thanks!
Wow, such an informative video. Not just related to the actual photo, you share great information about the gondolas as well. Great to see you try to maneuver one.
Glad you enjoyed it! They are really difficult to row

Michael, I just sent a comment to Stephanie, but she gets so many. I don’t know if she’ll read them. Maybe you will! I just had an idea. Maybe you guys have already thought about it but since it’s turning out that the artwork and the chapel that she is restoring is of such high-quality that the restores have made several comments about it, please consider you taking photographs of the chapel and the restoration and the artwork and producing a book with the narrative about the restoration and about the quality of the artwork! I think the chapel is going to be of historical significance worldwide as far as the art content! Your photography is so incredibly awesome. I think the pictures that Stephanie has taken so far did not do the chapel justice and it needs to be more professional and you certainly have the contacts to get the book published in a fashion that would be outstanding! I have a sneaking suspicion that because of the quality of the art and it’s historical significance that the publication of a book like that would be and would have a profound impact on the world and would be of interest to many people and you could split the profits with Stephanie and she could use her profits to continue the upkeep of the chapel for a very long time.
I hope you read this. Your photography is so incredibly awesome and excellent. I think this would be an amazing project if you guys could work on something like it, take care. Continue the great work.
So beautiful
Thank you so much
BTW, the haircut looks great!
Oh thank you!
Great photography.love all your talents. Would love to see some cute animals if you have any. Sending massive Donna hugs from NY. Next month I am going to visit my niece in New Orleans. Hope you are well.
Thank you so much! I've just been in the bush photographing baby cheetahs. I'll hopefully post some soon.
Brilliant!❤
Thanks!
Great photo presentation. My question is do people still attend this church? It's so beautiful! What denomination is it?
It was a Benedictine church. They still celebrate mass at 11am on Sunday.
lovely
Thank you!
Wonderful image. Did you have this image in your head before you shot so made your settings match what you were thinking? Or did you take a variety of pictures and create this after the fact? I would never have thought to make the gondolas blurry. But it works.
This was intentional, I had to bring a tripod and filters on the trip to achieve it. There was a bit of luck with the misty weather, and I think you always have to have some flexibility in your planning - but this is the sort of shot I was hoping for when I went out.
Thx for the info. You've given me inspiration to frame an image too. I will be back in France in June for a workshop. Going a few days early to go up to Mount Saint Michel. Staying at hotel across the marshes. Now thinking I might get an early morning misty shot with marshes & MSM in distance. Keeping fingers crossed. TY for the inspiration.
You should make a book of your photos
I do have a book of Amsterdam photographs, and am trying to come up with a theme for Lalande
Interesting
Thank you!
Were you in Venice with Stéphanie?
Your work is outstanding and a feast for the eyes. Thank you for sharing. On another note can you please help Stephanie, she cannot marry that gigolo. It’s a sorry sight.
