In a series of exchanges during First Minister's Questions in the Senedd, both men became increasingly irate. In the end the Llywydd (speaker) had to step in as the pointing and shouting got out of hand.

Drakeford is way out of line. Totally bereft of any understanding of the issues he is dealing with and endlessly blaming the U.K. government, yet 31 years of labour in Wales had seen the economy shrink while they’ve been squandering public funds on 20mph speed limits and on renaming the Brecon Beacons, which is what they will be remembered for.
Mark Drakeford, Wales First Minister, has beent described (by a Welshman) as "an unqualified sheep sh*gging wooly back who has never ever been fit for any purpose".
Wales has been humstrung by a litany of "weirdo" First Ministers since the piffy devolution referendums of 1997 & 2011.
Former Welsh Secretary Ron Davies delivered a devastating critique of how Wales has been run since the National Assembly was set up, saying he can’t name a single initiative that has improved the lives of ordinary people.
In an interview that coincided with the 20th anniversary of the referendum which narrowly backed the Assembly, the man often described as the architect of Welsh devolution said statistics proved that outcomes in the economy, in education and in health had in no way matched expectations.
The vast majority of the population in Wales now most likely accept the real fact that today, The Welsh Assembly is a complete and utter farce, no more than a talking shop for the aged and failed.
Was it not the former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson who highlighted in Westminster that the £141m was spent by the Welsh Assembly to "carry out studies" over the Brynglas Tunnels, a debacle that has raged unabated for decades.
A bit of history for non Welsh readers, the Brynglas Tunnels carry the M4 under Brynglas Hill in Newport and are just 404 yards or 370m long......but that mere 400yds has been a noose around Wales and a noose ever tightened by a Welsh Assembly whose only successful function has been to promote itself......and to have built a ridiculous looking HQ in the form of "The Senedd" in Cardiff Bay.
For the whole life of the Welsh Assembly's existence this bottleneck around Newport has been ignored apart from installing a few Speed Cameras which no doubt bring in quite a lot of revenue to the Welsh Assembly Coffers.........But really to spend £141m and nothing to show for it, just because the current First Minister bottled it, lost his nerve in approving the scheme to bypass the tunnels once and for all time and free Wales if not from the M4 traffic chaos, but also from the embarrassment of the tunnels themselves.
It was hoped for by all Welsh people that when the Severn Bridge "taxes" where finally withdrawn, that Wales would have an economic renaissance, that businesses would flourish, tourism would increase, jobs would come over from England into a rejuvenated Wales.
Apart from the spectra of the monstrous Celtic Manor Hotel and its eyesore of a neighbouring horrid looking "conference centre" , the next of the Seven Welsh Blunders, in fact No.1, being the Brynglas Tunnels, are set to be a carbuncle on the "ar*e" of Wales for the next fifty years. What a welcome to Wales.......there might still be a "Welcome in the Hillsides" but there will never be a welcome to Wales along the M4 past Newport...........
The UK Government must now surely take control before Wales is completely throttled by Assembly inaction, Wales has been awash with cash from the UK thanks to the Barnet Formula, its about time its was spent on real projects and not the "Fantasy Islands" of the First Minister and his cohort of Numpty AM's.

This will Kill people not save them. On the first day in Wrexham, I whilst driving unintentionally shadowed a team of cyclists who also travel at 20mph ish... They were nervous.
Later that day I was cycling and was shadowed for over 3 miles by a lorry as yes, we were both travelling in close proximity at 20 mph ish...
Keeping us this close for longer periods of time will inevitably conclude in Deaths...

They didn't win on overwhelming support, quite the opposite in fact, MANY people in Wales aren't even registered vote, and many of the rest of us thought about voting for a different party, before realising they are all just as fucked as eachother and therefore could not in good conscience vote at all. We need a decent party, all well saying "vote different" but when the choices are equally bad with similar to identical goals in mind, all of which are the exact opposite of what the people of Wales need and want, how the fuck is voting the solution when it's voting for a fixed set of corrupt politicians that got us here in the first place, you can't win a rigged game my friend. Revolution is the only solution, it's time people woke up and realised that before shit gets beyond repair. Voting has never worked in the publics favour and has only ever served to slowly chip away at our rights, our freedoms, our futures, our finances, and entirely destroy our great country, time to take it back, repeating the same thing which never works out well decade after decade is complete lunacy.

The point you raised, reason it will put wales back is because it will affect the economy big time making it harder for businesses to move goods as slow speeds will cause less parcels to be delivered thus decreasing productivity, it will increase journey times for everyone,
Unfortunately walking etc is not viable for most people but drippyford and co dont want you driving as owning a car is a sign of wealth

The stench of Davos hangs like a pall of smoke over all of them, same in all of our parliaments. All the while they argue over the details of how they will do exactly the same 'slightly differently', dismantle, destroy and re-order in a new image no one ever asks for, but which lots of money is spent on making sure it is framed just right so that details like that are never an issue. Then we argue over those differences as if they mean anything. It is a pantomime and a tragedy.
