    I love this horse with CDJ. She looks like a lovely ride.

    Fantastic test. Ridden all the way on the lightest of contact. Alive and Kicking is a superstar in the making.

      Praising her for "light contact" while she's using a double bridle and leverage bit is kind of silly.

    • @jonjonwp
      @jonjonwp Před měsícem +2

      @@pumpkinhead8593 Everbody has to use a double bridle , it is compulsory. If you actually watched she never hass contact at all with the curb.

    • @pumpkinhead8593
      @pumpkinhead8593 Před měsícem

      @@jonjonwp Never any contact with the curb? So it's there for decorative purposes? The horse holds it's head like that on it's own accord? You can literally see the shank moving even from far away. It doesn't matter that they're required to use them. Doesn't change the fact that it's a pain device and she certainly makes use of it.

      @jonjonwp Před měsícem +2

      @@pumpkinhead8593 You need glasses. She always has a loose curb rein. ALWAYS. Stop trying to make trouble. The contact comes from the bridoon.

      @@jonjonwp Well we'll have to agree to disagree. You trying to claim there's never pressure on the bit is just ridiculous.

    What a gorgeous first freestyle! So beautiful to see Audrey’s lovely nose open and in front, while the collection in her hind is very nice. Thank you Charlotte! May your partnership with Audrey continue to shine! 🤍💫💛🌹
    I wonder how it would be to ride her in a snaffle only ~ she seems very responsive with the lightest of contact. Maybe FEI could give riders the option to choose a single or lighter bit in accordance to the horse’s nature and development. 🤍🙏🕊

    She ought to use another music for a freestyle program. I have something from the "Simple Minds" in mind (no pun). "Alive and Kicking".

      I'd love to see a mandatory snaffle/bitless rule. I'm sick of watching horses suffer for a win.

      @@annjohnson8437 What are you saying?! Just think of all the marshmallow fluff that would go to waste without dressage riders having to provide the illusion of a "happy mouth!"

      @@Jill_P Not marshmallow fluff. It is sold to make the horse soft and comfortable in their mouth AND is FEI approved.

      @@jonjonwp Just because a product is marketed to make it sound beneficial, and an organization's approval is slapped on it, doesn't make it a necessary or good thing. There may be a right and a wrong way to use any tool, but if you have to slather your horse's bit and lips with sugary, processed gunk in the hopes that fans don't notice how unhappy the horses are, it's just a crutch and a cover up. I was attempting to make a joke out of it, but it's one of many symptoms of a larger welfare problem that the FEI has yet to address/enforce.
