Albanian has something very unique that makes them oldest Europe language !
Albanian translated all biblical , elements of importance , ancient Gods and many basic things as once life was very basic , don’t wait the oldest language to have word such “computer” , Albanian is oldest becouse gheg and tosc as two unite language Albanian branch with origin from gheg have the majesty to translate all the most important word as I mention since life beginning !
Gjarpri (gja+ pri) smth that rules or lead and from word gj=something mean word gjaku (blood)
Zoti (your voice ) or God
Je Zeus Cristu( je zot kri isht) meaning you are god you’re the ruler or leader !
Alban or arben (mean smth bright or white ) similiar to sun or sol invictus!
Diell (sun) Albanian 7 day is called diell (Sunday ) and diell comes from (know + star ) di=know/knowledge and ill (yll) is the star (even yllirian star in Albanian two head of eagle of scanderbeg old stem)
Alexander (is born by the dream )
Uji (water ) in Albanian comes from two basic you and me two elements as well make H20 important elements for water !
Deti (meaning sea) and in Albania de + ti ( mean De=dehem=seasick from sea and ti=you)
Ti = you = ti i or ni mean the first ‘
Latin takes the te/ti from yllrian mean the first you !
Names such biblical PIETER (pi+eter) from the fathers meaning man was created from the stone or ground and this comes word Peter or Pietra (ston) !
Era (mean wind in Albania ) as new era or new wind (referring to Zeus as well)
    ZJARR (pronounced Ziarn(similiar to fire)
    Mean Zi=boiling and ar=gold !
And more and more very old important word that now I am very tired to type on my pc …
So Albanian has the life secret in it
Like example they have GOAT (Zot) pronounced same as god and Albanian called Goat (DHIA) meaning in Albanian (knowledge) and Amathia( mean my goat) a ma (amja-emja meaning my in English )
So too much coincidences but this is truth !
Truth = vertet in Albanian comes from Ver +tet (meaning put your father ) as the pray father son and Holy Spirit !
    Spirit (shpirt)
Albanian comes from two (shpi=home and ti =you) so spiritus is home of your spirit in you, other is Shpirti(spirit) from (shpi=shpie= bring to you so both meaning )
And this is life people ‘
    Ajer=air and in Albania word
    Ajer(air) comes from gheg Albanian
    Ajer = a ere(meaning is wind )
    a=is (pronounced as AA)
    Ere proncuned ER)
German for Albanian are called as ALEMAGNE (meaning are born and can handle it ) so meaning are very brave!
A + LE + MANJE (is born and can handle)
Only Albanian can have LE(or LEVA) meaning born as proces of life !
BABI in Albanian comes from (ba= do and bi=bija = child or doughters)
Pussy (in Albania mean black hole or the hole in the ground to put water )
Albanian word for pussy is “paidhi” meaning “see the knowledge “ or do it similiar to word of goat into it (dhi-dhia) for this infinity as a circular represent both word !
So all this most important things of life has Albanian mostly Albania gheg dialect meaning !
Let’s say word VAMPIR Albania say it as DHAMPIR (dham=teeth and pir(pirë) mean drink ) so they suck blood from teeth…
Believe me albanian are on top 2 or securely oldest in Europe language !

In addition, there are racial differences between the Gegs who live in the wild north and the Tosks in the less rugged south.

They are the descendants of desperate races who lived defiantly and outside the law and were not exterminated or assimilated by the conqueror but maintained their independence blocked by the "fortress" of the Albanian mountains." Greek is not even a real language. It's a mix of Albanian, Turkish, Italian and Slavic.
Pelasgian family lists languages in four groups, of which only Albanian is well-attested»
      Oxford University Linguistics
“The speakers of the Indo-European language that would become Albanian and the speakers of the Indo-European language (Hellenic Albanian) that would become Modern Greek were the first to enter the Illyrian Peninsula whose languages are of relevance for modern Albanian linguistics.”:
«Nonetheless, Eric Hamp, who has been the most careful and conservative of specialists on Albanian dealing with this issue, has decided that the evidence linking Albanian to Messapic, which in turn has been linked to Illyrian, is sufficient to see Albanian as a descendant of a language to Illyrian, if not a descendant of Illyrian itself»
Eric Hamp was a legendary and renowned Indo-European linguist, as well as specialist of the Albanian language.
After 50 years of studying it, he argued that Albanian's affinities to the Messapic language proved that, at the very least, it was part of the same brandy as illyrian

Also «traditionally scholars have seen the illyrians as the proto - albanians».
Scholars like the Oxford Professor of History, Noel Malcolm, link the Albanian origin to the ancient area of Epirus. Again, some will probably oppose this explanation solely due to political bias.

Albanian language is the language that everybody in balkans used to speak. Even today's greeks (Arvanites/Arberesh/old albanians) still can speak albanian language, they have their own dialect which is pretty cool, but unfortunately these people are the old ones. The new generation don't have the opportunity to learn since Greece is very strict to foreign language schools especially the Albanian language. Since 70% of Greece are arvanites, it's so unfair that they are prohibited to speak/learn it due to political and religious reasons.

Google now "how old is Albanian language" and you will learn.
Go ask your grandparents to teach to you the language they used to speak. Unless you are part of 30% of so-called "greek" population, which means your origin is from Egypt/Tunisia/Iran/Turkey/Morocco etc.
Because, if you are part of 70%, it means you are Arvanitis/old Albanian, and Ethena a.k.a Athens in 1820 used to speak Arvanitika/Albanian.

The three languages are vastly different and loosely related.
Armenian hails from Northern Iran and so it is no surprise it is the closest to the ancient Avestani language of Persia.
Armenian even shares a lot of basic word vocabulary with Urdu and Hindi.
A lot of modern pseudo-linguists want to promote the idea that Armenian is similar to Greek but the loan words that entered the Armenian language from Greek can be counted on the fingers of two hands and this happened via the Turkish Language so no, Armenian and Greek are not similar (just as Russian and Portuguese or Frisian and Bulgarian are members of the same broad family and are vastly different the same applies to Greek and Armenian).
Albanian hails from the Caspian sea region but the migration to the Balkans and Southern Italy was very early.
It was significantly impacted by Illyrian , proto Greek dialects and proto (Turkic) Bulgarian but in its relationship to modern Greek it was mostly a one way street with Greek borrowing words from Albanian, not vice versa.

I think you are referring to Farsi which itself is an offspring of the Avestani Language.
The Avesta is the Holy Book of the Zoroastrians and it is written in the ancient Avestani Language.
Armenians were also Zoroastrians until the 4th Century CE and they too read from the Avesta during their drive to convert the inhabitants of Anatolia and the Southern Caucasus to Zoroastrianism in the 350 -380 years before the conversion.
It is in this light that we should understand the linguistic tie to the Arya language family that stretched from central Anatolia in the West to Afghanistan and India in the East.
