We go through stages in life but my fav band and soundtrack for me in that period! One of the 3 bands i felt a profound loss and sadness when they said they were stepping down. Great music and songwriting! A forever fan
I was in fourth grade when they broke up. Got hooked on them in high school somehow, musically mostly. They had such a good vibe to their music. I wish I could have seen them in concert, but I didn’t know about their concerts in 2012 til after sadly
Thank you for this, SUCH an amazing band! Had their albums on shuffle for ages earlier today and was brought to my attention again that these guys do not have 1 bad song

This is SUCH a great set. Wow. Thanks for sharing this. It's so refreshing to see a band who is genuinely skilled and who puts on such a great show by just performing their music at its best. Also it makes me sad to see good Christian music and how it doesn't really exist like this anymore. You'll never hear this kind of artistic music on Christian radio anymore.
these guys have insane sense of melody in their songwriting, it often sounds just as it would spoken. also, they had two lead singers that shared the load, and sounded great live--that's an art in itself. the kids would say "good vibes." ;-)
Ahh... crowd surfing and everything. Excellent. Just saw PFR again last year for the first time in years. And a new album now in the works... So excited!
Oh My Gosh!! Flashbacks!!!! I was at this Concert and Festival!!! I met the guys after the concert and they were so very gracious Thank you for the memories!! ❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙
I saw Micheal w. -dc talk, Petra, hokus Pick, Geoff Moore, and Jars of clay live but I never saw PFR live. It looks like the concerts were lots of fun. I have retained all their albums over the years. I may have the Eager album somewhere.
I'm from Raleigh, where Greg Pope hails, and went to many of his shows here both solo and with his "Greg Pope Band" and with Apple Green. I knew he played some with PFR and then had a band named Eager with a PFR member, but this is cool to see.
I first heard PFR in 1992 at the Creation Festival. I picked up their first Album. They just announced that they are changing their name from Pray for Rain to PFR. Love their music and one of my all time favorite bands. They have a lot of crossover appeal (Christian/Secular). Maybe one day they will do a show in the Philadelphia area.
Thanks for sharing this video , definitely one the best Christian band spreading the gospel out back in those days. I'm 49 I grew up with bands like Petra ,Mylon Lefevre ,Idle cure and more , PFR got my heart ! Great songs ! Thanks man ! Where is this band now ? Will be nice a reunion 2023 or 2024
Scott Hanson this is awesome. I was at Cornerston '96 but for some reason I didn't go to this concert. I have no idea why I missed it. So thank you....
So glad you put this up! I was in Christian Radio in IL during the 90s and never made it to Cornerstone. PFR was and still is my favorite band and their debut album still my fav album. LOVE this set!!
When Patrick mentioned they were going to play something from their up coming album Them, it took me back. I remember when that came out and I was excited to get it. Such good stuff, I still listen to Goldie, Great Lenths and Them a lot. I haven't heard the first album since the early 90's. Some of these songs are so rushed.
Wow, I get to wake up to THIS, get my joy on! Jump around! Cannot imagine how many people this band and this festival have impacted, thanks be to God, and that you have further impacted by posting the concert. Jewels in your crown...
20+ years later and I'm still bummed I missed out on Cornerstone. Never had a chance to go. What's worse is learning it was at Lake County fair grounds before moving to the farm. ARGH! I moved up north by the fair grounds after it moved to the farm. *head desk* Thanks to everyone for posting these videos, it's giving me a taste of what I missed in my 20s.
Thanks so much for posting this! I am a big PFR fan, and I first saw them in concert around this time. It brings back many happy memories to listen to this
Dear God💗❤️💗❤️💞🙏in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the , life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness. I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin. You said in the bible that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved. Right now I confess Jesus as my Lord. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Amen.

After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time,
One of the best bands ever in Christian music. Thank-you so much for posting this!
Huge Huge Huge PFR fan!!!! So underrated, but used by God which is most important. Love this! Thanks so much for sharing this! Miss them!

I disagree about it not existing. it's just hard to find.
@@nickmcguirk5993 that’s fair.
Absolute truth right there. Sad but true.
@@nickmcguirk5993 compared to back in the day… there’s basically nothing.
Worship took over. Also on that note… just follow the money and you’ll understand why…
this video takes me back two decades, when i knew pfr's music in the late 90s. this is fabulous, extraordinary, it makes me very nostalgic and happy.

Great guitars and vocals! Great chords, great arrangements! Such a great band!
They sound just like in the recordings; incredible!
These guys are so talented. Songwriting, singing and instrumentals are just flawless. This is before in-ear monitors and click tracks

Wow what a great set and performance! Miss these guys; I was a prodigal that came home led by their music 23 years ago! God bless them

I saw them live when I went to summer camp in Michigan. Spring Hill Camp was such a good time and I love those memories during my Junior High years.
This is my all-time fav band and it is my dream to see them live again. Sang along to every song!

We played there in one of the last years as THE LEAST OF THESE
That crowd surfing just never stopped...
59.06 best song they ever did!
Unfortunately the guitar was so out of tune so much throughout the set. But I agree, Pour Me Out is such a good song.

They are/were the band’s band.
Them guitars, bro. Just murder…love it
Thank you for this!! What a great treat after so many years. I wish the audio was better.
Thanks for the upload!! I wish they would make another album. ;(
Thanks for posting! I saw them in 96👍🏻
Awesome!
Knowing that in the studio Chris M and JLS played parts, it is good to see the actual band can really slam
Thanks for posting this!
So good!
This is awesome. Scott- did you capture the audio in better fidelity than this? PFR is such a stellar band.
Sorry I didn't.
THEM ! 😁👍
nice!!!!
Your relative Joel is really talented
Your relatives that sang MMMBop are pretty cool too though
