I hope you will someday consider creating videos on video creation as well. I'm interested in both the technical aspects (how you do the cool animations and transitions) and the design aspects-do you think the same principles of graphic design can be applied directly to videos, or do they need to be modified or augmented with additional principles?
I've been searching CZcams for tips on how to think about color, typography, and positions of visual elements in explainer videos like this, but can't seem to find anything so far.
Perhaps in the future! I'm not so proficient with video editing just yet :) Thanks!

I'm not sure how to answer that. At home? At your computer? Create some made up projects in Illustrator or something of the sort.
I am 13 and at home I just wanted to practice designing but idk where to and also illustrator isn't free
