Woodturning: Resin-ated Bamboo Sticks

- Welcome to today's woodturning project! After a while I made again a goblet, using bamboo sticks and some magenta resin. Pretty straightforward project resulting in a nice looking goblet. I finished the project with danish oil.

I love watching your videos. They’re very zen. But those sticks are not bamboo. Bamboo no matter how skinny is always hollow.
А нахрена тратить лишние шпажки и эпоксидку? Можно было вставить трубку близную по диаметру, к отверстию и залить уже с отверстием! Не нужно было бы сверлить, сразу растачивать и всё. Меньше работы и стружки!

think about what you're doing. There was no need for the bamboo inside this. A few blocks of pine to be hollowed out after the initial shape was achieved. this uses much less material of any value! use the bamboo for the base, and don't use any for the interiorof the cup. might need one additional step in putting the blank together, but after that the unit cost will decrease.
