Brilliant result, the patterns in the wood, which are always unique, and the swirling reds of the epoxy worked so well together.
A question: is the epoxy tougher to ‘cut’ than wood, or does it depend on the hardness of the wood used? Keep up the great work/artistry! We need to see it ;-)

yes indeed epoxy resin is harder than wood even if certain species are very hard

This is just great…….my favorite woods are distressed or unusual in some way. Did you spalt this yourself or was it found in that condition?

epoxy is a rot-proof material, you can add water and soil and this in no way alters the quality of this vase
