Interesting thing I noticed is that on the road courses, he chats it up, but during the Indy 500 he ran, he was really concentrating, and didn't speak much. Would have though that would have been reversed.
If you know the track, it's no problem for any driver. Once you know the track and practice 1 hour with any car you should know the right gear changes and such. Then its just up to more practice for optimizing your laps.
Indy 500 can be very unpredictable and needs more concentration than just driving a track you already know by heart.
You naturally block out everything that doesn't matter, so you can just focus on the car and the road.

the speed numbers aren't very realistic like some of those corners he took 200+ realistically can't be done 100+ i don't know how realistic this sim is in other aspects but the speed numbers are just way off
pui pui its a fake car so the downforce is unrealistic, but Assetto Corsa itself is very realistic.

We can probably do that now, tbh. Just make a very powerful engine, as the size and weight won't matter that much for going in a straight line. The hard part of making that car is the aerodynamics, which is what allows it to corner at such high speeds.

Rice God Racecars don't pull negative g-forces like jet fighters, a suit wouldn't do shit for sideway g-forces.

It's not vertical G like an aircraft (so no blackouts or redouts, and no G suit would be able to help), but the lateral G would be insane. The drivers head would have to be restrained in the vertical position (and possible fore and aft) to last for ten minutes IMHO. It's already bad enough in F1, it would be even worse here.

How can you even process what you're seeing when you drive this car, man? I mean... geez...
Also, I appreciated you calling this car a weapon. The way my mind works, I immediately dubbed this car a "Weapon of Lap Destruction"
Repetition, the same way people can blast through all of a Super Mario game in mere minutes without needing to look at the screen most the time, or people can play through the fire and the flames on Guitar Hero 3 on expert mode, with a remote control they've mapped.
He goes round and round and round and round for hours and hours off camera til he knows the track off by heart and then it's down to muscle memory and visual markers.
Watch him on other tracks he's never done before, in very slow cars in comparison to this one and he's absolutely garbage, he doesn't really have much driving game skill, which is why he gets destroyed by proper sim racers that take part in comps, he's basically an above average gamer with a very expensive rig (that gives a huge advantage already) that practice, practice, practice some mores his way to getting semi-respectable times which are still seconds behind the really good players. And seconds in racing terms can be like hours considering some lap times are won and lost on a split thousandth of a second, if you're two seconds behind you might as well be playing on a different planet.
I'd describe myself as fairly average at racing games, and I play them with a joypad, and I've still beaten loads of his times on GT Sport and Asseto Corsa, and unlike him I don't practice them, I have a few laps and give up. In a GT season, he'd not reach a final, he's not good enough and he'll probably admit that himself. He's lucky that he's found his niche on CZcams, and nobody truly skilled has bothered to start a channel (although a good rally driver has recently started a channel and is creating world records on Dirt 2 that are mind blowing to watch if you play the game), just people like SuperGt, and that burk that plays Need for speed doing silly Nigerian accents all the time.

There are many people better than you at many things in this world, just because James Broadbent is better than you at the thing you love (sim-racing), that don't mean you should hate him for it. In fact that's very childish behavior.

Not when you are racing 30 of these against each other. They pull so hard with drafting, it would be better if they had 8 gears.
Only if your gearing setup is poor. In GT it's possible to touch between 500 and 510 KPH
7th gear is good if you get to slipstream, or run lower down force. It's also good to not drink as much fuel, lower RPM.

Philip Fox 2.0 DTM and Super GT are basically the same, one is German and the other is Japanese, but the Cars are from the speed the same

I've downloaded this car and i can't get it to work properly. I saw they are 2 versions, i tried each one and i was never able to drive faster than 320kph... Anyone has a setup ?
The X2010 S1 has the specs that Jimmy talked about. 1500 HP V6 Twin Turbo redlining at 15,000 RPM, 280+ MPH theoretical top speed, G forces that would make the car impossible to drive in real life...

The Caparo T1 is quite different, this is a fictional car with ridiculous aero, nearly 3x the power of the T1 and a rear fan like the '78 Brabham F1s
