Polynesian Human Sacrifice Stone on Raiatea - 4K VLOG 224

I find myself once again on the beautiful island of Raiatea in French Polynesia, visiting my good friend Vetea Farahei and Poekura Mauore, before setting off on a sailing voyage around Tahiti. Vetea is a great man who embraces in cultural heritage, is very connected with nature, and teaches the Haka dance to Polynesian youth. On his beautiful piece of ancestral land lies an ancient human sacrifice alter dating back over a thousand years ago. Vetea describes to us how it was once used, and how to be the chosen sacrifice was a great honor. They had a different perspective on life and death back in those days. Vetea himself has a profound understanding of energy flow throughout the body and utilizing sound and body positioning to facilitate this flow. He gives us a tour of his beautiful home and organic farm where he produces citrus fruits for his island and raises a variety of animals.

I was in the BVI last year in September. me and some of my family rented a big catamaran and island hoped for a week. We were in some of the same places you visited on your last video. Willy T's, the baths and some others. I have been watching your videos from the start. When you were on the island with chuck. I still plan on getting to those islands one day. Kibata or something like that. I do know you fly to Hawaii and then to Christmas Island and then they one flight a week to the islands I am talking about. If you ever get to Tennessee look me up.
