It's now official, this is no longer CZcams, it is SimonTube. This man has more channels than my local cable provider.
D4md Cykey 🤣😂🤣
Shorter commercials 😂👍
How many is he up to now? Man is a machine.
D4md Cykey yup
the challenge is that his channels are all so damned interesting harder to surf through.
Simon: *discovers another part of his office*
Also Simon: I MUST FILM THERE
How did you get verified already?
😅
Legitti because had to look into this one again. It’s because he’s not verified. It’s just a Unicode tick that anyone can use if they really want to.
Every new channel is another view into Simon's office space.
@@Legitti he has to work for ya know who
3:10 The idea of using empty fuel tanks as living area was used when Skylab was built inside a repurposed second stage of a Saturn V rocket.
It was Saturn V third stage (the S-IVB) that was used for Skylab, but otherwise you are correct.
I was hoping someone would have mentioned that.
'Does the coffe machine work?' - Captain Janeway approves this question.
One more channel with Simon Whistler, this day could not have started any better. Awesome!!
Welcome to the Simonverse.
Awesome, My thoughts exactly. X
And I must say, I love how this video is not as formal as TIFO/IG/GG but also not as loose as BB. A perfect middle point that provides a very good range of styles for your different channels.
Can't wait to see it!
Yarden Zelivansky I agree. Good vibe.
Very good observation . I was going to put something similar but you nailed it .
This is like early era morning talk show chill. Still talkin’ cool shit to get you ready for the day, but not bombing your brain with irreverence or information.
@@megaprojects9649 I'm sure you will blow the Chernobyl video away. It'll be radiant!
Lengendarily speaking that is.
It always bugs me a little when people quote Kennedy as saying “We choose to go to the moon” - like yeah, we do, and that’s great and all, but that’s the least important part of the sentence. It sets a specific timeline for the goal (“in this decade”) and explains why, on a philosophical level, it is important (“not because they are easy, but because they are hard”) and so on.
"This is the Irish module, it's a bar." LOL
Is there nothing duct tape can't fix?

I love how just about everything Simon brings up is followed by "If you're interested in that I've got another channel..."
if you play this game by time your done the pandemic might be over ...
"Which I probably won't link to below, just Google it, that will be a rock roll if I link it."
During this pandemic, Simon was so bored that he needed to start a new channel to keep himself and his clone army occupied.
2 channels, btw ;)
@@thedarkdragon1437 he has like 8
@@bloodman098 no i mean he started 2 channels, not 1, during this pandemic lol

@@Peter_H_Art God damnit, someone was faster XD
It’s kind of crazy that 20 years ago was the last time all human beings were on the same planet together.
Not for long though. Mir was abandoned in March 2001 and the expedition on the ISS began in November.
@@user-lv7ph7hs7l That's 20 years
@@bescriva1 I'm saying except for 6 months it was almost 30 years. I don't know gow I could have phrased that more clearly.
@@user-lv7ph7hs7l So without taking into account the last time all humans where on the same planet (those six months), there’s been more years where humans weren’t all in the same planet? Shocker
@@bescriva1 Why are you even here if you don't like random space station related facts... We really got going with MIR smashing records (and solar panels...).
Toptenz: Gets hacked
Silly hacker, didn't they know if you struck down one Simon Whistler channel 4 more would rise to take its place?
simondra a hydra of channels
Legendary Legend fans, we should form a group Simons Legion of Legends
Or make a mobile game to sponsor his channel. Raid: Legendary Legends!
Yesss
RAID SHADOW LEGENDS!
Megaprojects screen all red with baritone voice
I like it!
Simon: "Megastructures: The ISS"
Isaac Arthur: "Are you serious? That's a kilostructure at best"
My two favorite channels represented in this comment... Awesome
Favorite hosts to be exact
Birch planets would be more deserving
I read that in their voices 😂😂
"Megastructure" is so classified by being at least a kilometre on any axis (a million millimetres, as it happens), and the ISS, impressive as it is, is only 108.8m in length. Issac tends to think... bigger.
It's beautiful to see what humans can archive when not wasting time and resources fighting each other. It's also sad to see how often we end up doing the latter
"Oh.. This is the Irish module.. Its a BAR!" LMFAO!
As a Canadian who is 1/4 Irish and Scottish...I say OH YEAH!!!! :-)
lol
Im Irish. England has more bars. But ours are better. We have ufc fighters punching old men and leprechauns trying to play pool and Sinead O'Connor in the corner praising Allah. Lots going on in our boozers.
Love from Dublin Ireland

My mom’s name is Donahue. Well said sir.
I imagine Simon walking around his office one day, looking into a corner and thinking, "I just found another area to host another channel. The area's kind of small,... that gives me an idea: Megaprojects!!!"
Was just thinking the same lol 😂
That’s probably exactly how he comes up with projects lol

Mark Karasik it is. I have to color my hair to hide my gray.
"That's the Irish ones....it's a bar."
Space travel is full of inanity so it would surprise me if the Irish sent astronauts with booze. Fun fact: Mongolia, Cuba, Vietnam, Israel, pretty much all of Europe, and Afghanistan all beat the Chinese into space, some early Russian Cosmonauts were sent into space with shotguns in case they crashed or landed in Siberia, and the first men on the moon had to wait in quarantine in case they caught any infections from the moon or space.
Another great channel by Simon. I can’t wait for future episodes. Bonus fact: Taco Bell set up a barge in the Pacific ocean with a bull’s-eye on it when the Mire re-entered the atmosphere. If the Mire hit the barge Taco Bell was going to give every person on the planet a free taco. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a taco.
On the bright side, you didn't get the no-extra-charge diarrhea, either!
Next channel is “mega collections” and the first video is Simon talking about his collection of CZcams channels 😂
no don't be ridiculous
Make it happen Simon!
😅
I’m just saying... you need a “Simon’s Channels” Channel!
MEGA CHANNELS lol
Legendary Legends are here first!!!
We sure are
I think Mr Simon was born for this. I have watched tv broadcasting for 60++ years and while there’s definitely personalities that are better than other but... damn. Ok there is a comedian here in the US named Jim Gaffigan than does a 4th wall breaking monologue from the viewer’s point of view and I love the humor that Mr Simon uses along with this sort-of-one-on-one personalization with the viewer... absolutely brilliant!
I wish good health and all the best to you and yours!
2:48 The final stages of WW1......lol. Edit to the final stages of WW2.
Still this channel is very informative and entertaining.
Thanks 😊.
Yeah, I kinda had a moment of confusion there, too. Just for a second.
I just scrolled down to look for this comment... I was about to do it!
i heard it too was like........ MISTAKE
"I will put the link below." HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAAHHA.!! Simon up to his old tricks. Legend.!!
Simon needs to hire someone just to review his videos and insert links.

OMG FIRST LIKE ON A SIMON WHISTLER VIDEO I MUST CELEBRATE THIS DAY YEARLY
Not just a video but a channel!
Simon, as an Irishman I've never laughed so much when you joked about the Irish module being a Bar😂😂😂😂👏👏👏👏
You fucking vegetable.
@ That’s nice
@1:20 "One small step" was July 20. The mission LAUNCHED on July 16, plus four days to get there and land.
Makes you wonder how good his research team is if they missed that. Most would know that date without even having to look it up.
This is fantastic. Your best channel (outside of TIFO ;-)) even on video 1. And if I'm being completely honest, video production on this makes me feel like we need to up our game on TIFO. ;-) Harder to do daily of course. But hmmmm. Has to be a way. ;-) Nice work! This will be your most popular channel (outside of TIFO ;-)) within a year. -Daven
😁 Awesome!!!
Clones!!!
That’s was nice!
Someone wants a pay rise. 😁🤣
Business Blaze is Simons best channel
This has almost filled the gaping hole that has been left in my heart by Modern Marvels. Looking forward to more!
I love how Simon turned Zarya (Dawn) into Zaya (Little Bunny, term of endearment, like Honey or Sweetie).
The more channels from Simon the better. Love them all. Keep up the good work, man
Missed the 'ba-da-boem-boem' when Simon mentioned the 'didn't come off the ground' ;).
@10:46 double finger guns for the more classy version of Simon
I heard it in my mind 😂
I said it out loud.
Are we already addicted to mega structures (like all the channels Simon hosts) or what?
Legendary legends is a legendary newsletter.
Did you know that every astronaut that went to the ISS on a Russian rocket had to learn to speak Russian. Just a tidbit of information for the space heads out there.
The channel network of Simon ought to be covered in an episode here.
Oh, subscribed just now. Thank you Simon for making this lockdown so much better.
At this point, Simon Whistler is going to be in 25% of my CZcams feed, and I can live with that
Some history for you Simon. The US had Skylab in orbit in 1973, ten years before the Mir space station. It’s reentry happened in 1979. Just FYI
And Soviets had Salyut 1 in 1971.
Mir was the first modular station; designed to have additional modules attached over time. Earlier stations only had a docking port for resupply and crew changes.
Edit the first “space station” was actually the OPS 0855, which was launched in November of 1966 and had 11 experiments on board. Being unmanned and in a low earth orbit, its orbit decayed in January of 1967. Manned stations were planned to be launched in 1969 but funding issues and delays caused the program to be canceled in June of 1969.
And Britain wasn’t terrorized by the V2 at the end of WW1
There were two Skylabs built. One went up, and the other went to D.C. I have walked through it in the air and space museum.
I imagine it's still there. It's hard to think they would attempt to move such a massive item!
But they learned many, many things. And that is worth a story by itself!
Already in love Simon. Pumping out THE best content on CZcams. Love your videos.
LOVE IT!! Can't wait for the next video! Thanks Simon!
Imagine all that effort to get a coffee machine in space... And they send you decaf.
That seems suicidal to me. If I were working for someone and I coul only eat/drink what they gave me, and I asked for coffee and they send me decaf I just wouldnt work until they sent me some goddamn caffeine.
Tose sumbeeches
Goddamn.....that is absolutely diabolical! Decaf coffee is an abomination! I hope whoever did that has dreams that remain unfulfilled until the day they die!
Spend millions of dollars on a special pen to go up into space. (Which did happen in America)
It’s like Biographics with some business blaze casual, I like it!
Biographics but with stuff, it's pretty cool
Scott Kelly also has a twin brother. They were trying to determine if space changes you physically besides just what we know, and having a single twin go as a way to study that.
Yes, precisely!! They were able to compare not only the astronaut's before and after chromosomes and DNA, but also with his twin's, whose (unsurprisingly) didn't change during the period.
As I recall, the astronaut's changed quite a bit, and in interesting ways that they wouldn't have been able to see without the twin!
More of this please. I love all your channels, but this one is my new favourite.
MOAR CONTENT! So happy to be here to start this one with you.
It's like Today I Found Out had a baby with Business Blaze, I like it Simon. As for the name, I think you should call it Simon Whistler talks about really big shit.
There's a really cool app that has a 24 hour video feed from the ISS.
This is halarious but true!
Today I found out we are the same age.
I really do like this channel. I started from biographic, cause like important people do important things, and you are a good presenter.
Here, I like how it feels as tho I am having a beer with you and shooting the sh!t.
Also out of respect, your later sponsors, I let others know about. You seem like a really cool dude, and have a very well thought out person and style.
Good job and thank you for the hard work.
I appreciate your candor, Simon.
When the audio level dropped, I low key thought I was having a stroke.
@Kevin Kirk Dude, thank goodness you said it! I thought I was the only one who heard it...
Kevin Kirk Lol, same. I got a chill all down my back. Started putting my thumb to all my fingertips & wiggling my toes. It scared the shit out of me for about 3 or 4 seconds🤣
I gotta say, semi serious Simon is a good balance between Today I found out Simon, and Business Blaze Simon...
I like the concept, and I can't wait for the Best Airplane ever made!
Always happy to see your content I love your passion and interest in these topics, keep up the good work.
Do the James Webb Space Telescope and the Hubble Space Telescope!
Yay! Legendary Legends in the house!
Simon! I started with watching Biographics... then geographics.... then TopTenz... so on and so on. I am a history buff and level of detail to your descriptive narrative is impeccable. (30% goes to Danny since he’s behind the scene) I look forward to seeing more notifications that you uploaded another video. BTW your on screen charisma is off the chart!
Sincerely, a dedicated fan,

Another fine addition to your collection Simon congrats on the new channel
Simon you are One of the best voices on CZcams if not the best....Thank you for good work
Yeah! More Simon! This is going to be, wait for it ... LEGENDARY!
As a Legendary Legend for almost a week now, I decree this new channel, satisfactory. Carry on Simon.
this is the channel i always wanted , megaprojects and the narrator is simon , seems like dream come true.
As long as Simon is hosting, I'm a fan of whatever channel I'm watching. He should be hosting all of CZcams as far as I'm concerned.
Seriously though, I watch/listen to your videos every single day in some form. It really helps my anxiety and makes me feel better, even when you're taking about the world ending and stuff. Tend to rewatch older videos or listen to brainfood to fall asleep nearly every night. Sarcastic comments will keep coming, but they are kicked in the ass by love. All the best, thank you for all you do.
Simon, your wit is a very bright light in a dark time. Wishing you every success in your future and present ventures. Your excitement is infectious. I'm a huge fan! X
So good to see you again Simon..
I came across this channel just today..
Liked and subscribed before hit play. Love everything you put out.
I get to see the ISS often at night where I live.It never gets old.I am in awe each time.

Simon: Hey Siri! What’s 100 metres converted to feet?
Siri: don’t forget to wash your hands
Simon: *throws script on floor*
Siri bout to catch a beating.
Uppity, useless little bastard.
YOU WASH YOUR HANDS!
Siri is only good for comic relief in YT videos. It's ridiculously stupid and inefficient to use compared to simply doing it the old school way and typing in a search box.
Megaprojects
Definitely not at terminator level yet
Can't believe I missed this one, brilliant as ever. About that guy who sold his business and then spent a fortune becoming a space tourist. In 2002 South African businessman, Mark Shuttleworth spent 8 days on the ISS as a space tourist. In 1999 he sold his IT company to VeriSign for about $600 Million. He spent about $20 Million for his trip into space which included a full year training as a cosmonaut, so he was left with a pretty decent chunk of change.
Brilliant video Simon, thanks a lot.
I thought for sure this video would be sponsored by "Raid, Shadow Legends!" mwahahahaha
I just saw a video made by another guy with a raid shadow legends plug in it. I lost a little respect for that guy.
I spent the first two minutes shouting " Don't spill the coffee!! " 😲
Simon you have filled my 90s Discovery Channel void. Thank You!!
Simon, the core of Skylab was a repurposed hydrogen tank from the third stage of a Saturn V. So, yeah, there were a bunch of guys living in space in an empty fuel canister. They were also the first mutiny in space too, so bonus cool points.
Next year im gonna make a video called "top 10 channels not run by simon whistler that are run by simon whistler" as an april fools joke if you continue like this.
"I apologize Americans... This is terrible!" He said that....
By the way Simon, the UK does/did have a space program. For example, the Beagle Mars Lander program leader was The Open University in Milton Keynes.
I like Simon's videos... His attempts at pronunciation of non English names are often hilarious (I sympathize with him).

The ISS is slowly becoming a real life Deep Space Nine situation.
What about Skylab? That was an empty fuel tank, and built only by the US trying to match the Soviets, even though it was damaged and abandoned rather quickly.
Super interesting... Love your new channel. Always listen to it on my way to work
With all of the channels here and the podcasts I can officially listen to Simon every waking minute of my day. My life is complete. 💯
Regarding the "people living in converted fuel tanks" thing, it happened. Skylab was built/converted from the second stage of a Saturn rocket left over from the Apollo missions.
Been looking for someone who mentioned Skylab. America’s early 70’s space station. Was up there for 2 yrs.
Best way to start the morning for a Legendary legend 😂

LMAO, as an Irishman I love the Irish module as a bar!!!
So I'm watching this after watching your later videos and I love it. This American really loves the humour mixed in with interesting tidbits that has made this channel one of my favorites. See First Impressions really do mean something 😂😊
I know I'm late on this but I do like the change in style Simon. The music and vibes are refreshing.
Just throwing this out there: in the brief history of space stations you missed Skylab - NASA's first space station launched at the end of '73 and lasted for a few months.
"Well, that´s the Irish module. It´s a Bah!" haha
I dig this, saw Three Gorges Dam, B-52, and now ISS... with that... subbed! Better than the other channels for sure!
That was a wonderful video, Simon.
The Legendary Legends will always win first place in the comment space race!
So I’m with Armstrong on whether he pronounced the “a” in his “small step for a man” quote. I’ve heard many other cases of people saying “a” and it coming out just as abbreviated as Neil said it, yet nobody questions it.
