- In this episode we finally make it up to the north country to chase Bull Trout. This is an unbelievable experience. Steep Canyon walls do their best to keep Justus and Cole out of the waters they protect. With a little bit of grit and determination, we were able to make our way into position on a few of these tenacious fish.

Thank you dear grandson. When I was about 45 I hiked the John Muir Trail. We didn’t fish on that trip but it was awesome. Watching you brings back those hiking memories. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

so good man. thanks for making these awesome videos. I made my wife and son sit on the couch and watch it with me. getting me excited to head to Jackson and Yellowstone this summer. going to share with my buddy who hopefully is going to meet me out there. we worked together in the park 25 years ago so it will be awesome to fish together again

I fly into backcountry, Idaho strips from my home in Wyoming. I was fishing a small stream near an airstrip last August I had a small 10 or 12 inch cutthroat on and all of a sudden it stopped. I have my three wt rod. I looked to the end of my leader, and I could see about a 2 foot long Bulltrout holding that little cutthroat sideways in his mouth. I could not put much more pressure on him and he finally released it. I switched flies to a streamer and after about half a dozen cast, I caught a small bull trout about. . I’m heading back into North Central Idaho with my Fourwheel Camper in July to fish some tributaries of a larger river Hopefully catch some nice cutthroat and Bulltrout
