Bouta time! What else am I suppose to do midday on a Sunday besides watch a new wild fly video?!?!
Appreciate you!
I found it on 4th of July while my ribs are smoking, and it’s in my home state…
@@WildFlyProductionswhat green rod is that ?
I for real don't know how you don't have millions of subscribers with absolute masterpieces like this. Looking forward to next Sunday and keep up the work Scotty!
Thanks a ton my man! We're just stoked anyone watches in the first place. Cheers.
Love how you’re showing the side of fly fishing a lot of videos don’t. Watching the struggle to land those fish is very relatable😂
And they do it again! No better way to spend a Sunday morning, watching the best fishing content on CZcams! Keep it up! 🤝
Agreeed
Again dropping as soon as I'm home from work, nothing better. Love from Northern Ireland brother.
Hey Scottie, what a great chronicle! What an awesome time, great job to Trent and everybody involved, thanks and appreciate all the hard work! It takes a lot!….Bruce
The clarity of that water - 🤯! Thanks for sharing and keep these awesome videos coming! ✌🏻🎣
This makes me want to start fishing 🎣
That tiny creek in the desert was awesome
Can't tell you how much I've been looking forward to these. Awesome film.
Spring creeks are special places thanks for taking us along .
Happy Trails
These videos are incredible. Everything from the storytelling, shots, sound design, it's all perfect. Every video you put out just blows me away. Keep up the great work, I'll be looking forward to all the future videos
I really appreciate it! Tight lines brother.
The scenery is mind blowing! Absolutely love this trilogy of films😎Superb work Scotty💥
This looks to be one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Amazing.
Utterly beautiful vid. Makes me happy that water like this still exists.
Beautiful setting, beautiful fish. Can’t get much better than that!
Excellent as usual! What an amazing region. Love it down there. Cheers!
I love this bush plane series.
Luv it as always! Congratulations to Jesse, a trip of a lifetime!!!! Safe travels I can’t wait to see some videos from the Alaska Venture gentlemen……
We’re stoked! It’s gonna be an epic trip.
Dude these videos have inspired me to get into fly fishing after just being a casual spin fisherman for years! I now have started working on my casting and I'm going on my first trip to catch wild browns! My ultimate goal is to go to the US and do this!
Love this series can't wait for the next one.
The colours of water in this video were next level!! Great work
What a unique and cool fishery!! Some great fiesty Trout!! Good video! Tightlines!
Dude those bows had ninja genes with how they slipped off the hooks lmao. One of the more technical fishing set of videos I’ve seen in your content, between the trout mini golf and then this video, that was some really awesome casting dude. Pretty much watched all your videos and seeing how your skills have evolved for every different scenario is really sick dude. Not even to mention how amazing the filming is. You’re super talented Scotty and definitely my favorite channel to watch. Shout out to Trent for some awesome fishing himself, and letting us see a different view of adventure….. Keep it up brutha.
Great three part series! Enjoyed watching. Tight lines from the mountains of North Carolina. Peace
This was one of my favourite series! Absolute banger
Great stuff fellas, it's so cool to see your stories unfold in my local waters.
I know it’s picky, but those strike indicators were designed to be used a different way. Bend or fold the leader, feed bend through the hole on the white end, then insert the pin to stop the line from coming back out from the colored end. This allows the white side to always face down, which mimics a bright sky. + colored side is always up. + the pin will point to where your drift is allowing you to fish more accurately. + you can remove or add the indicator without having to retie a thing
This is just what I needed I’m on my way to Montana and have been in the car for 15 hours got lunch and a new wild fly vid going
Going up to the Sierra Nevada range for some trout later this month, this video has me so hyped. The cinematography was beautiful. Thank you.
Amazing video as always. Perserverence pays off Scotty! What a spot too, unreal man. Great work boys. What a wrap to this series. Congrats to the contest winner!
Way to go Jesse! Enjoy Alaska!! Great video wild fly!
Another well done series! Loved every bit of all the video’s
What a fishing trip you guys had! Very good video, one of the best I have ever seen. Keep up the good work!
Wow. Great video and Trent Palmer too. Coolness. Sharing with my best fishing buddy.
Yeah! We met Trenton up in downieville last year when we rode/hiked up to the fire lookout. Great to see his plane in action. Super killer stuff! Fall River is the best. I go every year for a golf tournament and fishing. It’s always a highlight of my year! Killer video!🤘🏻
I live in the Bay Area of California, you guys are floating through some pristine land in this video, almost priceless land. Looks like Mt Shasta in the background…love everything you guys do…
Love this series!! ❤ keep up the good work Scotty!!
Thanks boss!
Beautiful Rainbows! Awesome video! Love your channel!
👊🏼 I’ve had those days too, way to stick with it. Great film!
Super rad, boys! Strong work!
Awesome trip guys! thanks to you"all for putting this together, makes me feel like i'm there...almost:)
Thanks for the great footage on our home waters. Jay had a great suggestion of holding your rod high vs the tendency of jamming the reel seat into your chest. Holding the rod high and using your wrist/forearm for leverage essentially extends the rod length and your ability to react to pressure rather than relying on the tip and mid/section only. Brent landed far more with a long arm vs. rod only. Plus minimizing slack line will aid in hook sets. Thanks again!
Just discovered your channel. Such 🔥🔥🔥 content. Quality all around. Thanks!!
Stealthcraft sleds. Nothing else like em. Another amazing episode, great work.
Great series, scotty!! As per usual. But what a way to go fly fishing!
I love living in the Golden State, year round outdoor fun, so happy you got to experience it Scotty!!
Loved my time there! Can’t wait to get back over there and fish. Need to hit the high sierras next time.
@@WildFlyProductions The Sierra Nevada is like my second home, any chance I get to escape the city that’s the first place I go
Sweet videos man really enjoy watching them! Keep it up 👍
Wonderful video about a great fishery. I can't wait to get schooled by those rainbows in 2 weeks! It was good to watch you experience Fall River for the first time. I have recreated in Fall River Mills many times. But only to play golf on that wonderful (my personal favorite) course designed by Clark Glasson. I can't wait to FINALLY fish there!
Loved this series 👍🏻
That was awesome
Great series!!! You are an excellent filmmaker!
Great video you were on my home waters spent most if my life fly fishing that water this valley is one of the most beautiful places on earth in my mind
I’m jealous that looks epic
Some lovely fishing
Awesome series!
Loved the series bro, love your channel immensely, dude! 👍🇦🇺🇦🇺
So awesome
They are so hard to catch in the fall river. Love coming back to this video to remind me of what I'm missing back home
Awesome video.
That looks absolutely fantastic, fun easy fishing for big wild trout. What could be better?
Knocked it out of the park on this one! Love the collaboration, been watching both of you for years, so fun! I knew when Trent got into FF’n it would turn into something coolio! You need to come chase sea run cutthroat in the salt out in Puget Sound w/ me! Cheers!
Dude that’s freakin nuts i live right down the road from where y’all were fishing from!! glad to see fall river getting some attention
I love this area of NorCal. Lassen and Shasta in the background.
Gotta love a good ass kicking! If it were easy we wouldn't be fly fishing. It's the fight for the win that makes it fun. Nice way to wrap up a great series my man!
Started watching last year at college, got me looking at poles for later this year now
Because of your trip Scotty My buddy and I booked two days with Jason June 1and 2 2024 super excited
Watching you young guys out there doing it new school is not feeling very well--- I mean it's "SICK!"
Amazing film guys im from England and it all seems so big a country you got there.
Using more side to side pressure would likely increase your landing fish. Also using barbless hooks will give you a better purchase. Wetting your hands before handling the fish will help to preserve them. Thanks for the video. Ron
13:40 that drag control was unreal 💪
I'm pretty familiar with this river and it's a tough fishery. I love the spot where the spring comes into the lake. The Callibaetis hatch is pretty off the hook for the big fish. Well done.
nice video. hopefully over time, learning this level of technical will improve your skill. 35 yrs ago, Fall River totally kicked my ass.
That place looks insane! Y’all need to use the reel more when playing fish to control the drag 😂 after all that’s what they are made for!
I grew up in Klamath Falls, OR which isn’t too far from where this was filmed, my dad goes up there a lot and enjoys the beauty of the area. The spring head is an amazing place to visit since it’s so clear you can see the bottom and it’s like floating in air, sort of an eerie feeling. There’s another nice clear spring up near Chiloquin, OR but can’t bring in any gas powered boats.
Amazing video as always! Greetings from Norway. We have a lot of great fishing, just saying!
Another Epic adventure! How I would love to go to Alaska and hang out with Dr. Bob and the rest.
Do it!! It’s quite the time.
@@WildFlyProductions Sorry, wont be able to at that time.
If you ever come abroad the big pond', Denmark has some awesome waters.
Freaking all I can say is awesome
Was just up in that area fishing another famous spring creek. Without a boat I couldn’t fish the one you are on due to lack of access, but there is always next year.
I will be in Alaska in September!!! I live here! Make sure you eat at Moose’s Tooth pizza in Anchorage 👍🏻 Tight Lines.
Mannn! Just an hour east from where I was born and raised with my family owning over 400 acres of farm land on that river. I still go over to fish & visit every other weekend, woulda been awesome to meet y’all. If y’all head our way again, holler at me and I can get y’all a ranch home to stay on the river while visiting. Love the videos 🤘🏼
So sick to watch you fly fish the area I live in! This series was awesome :)
Where is this if I may ask if like to go there atleast just once
best channel on youtube
Very tidy work lad.
I'm going to Lake Edison next week! I'm binging all fly fishing videos..
How'd you do. Love that lake
Nice brother!
SHOW FISHING 🎉👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎣
You're right above Lassen NP, which I believe is the only park in the states with all 4 types of volcanoes
awesome video!!!... love watching all your videos...are you still doing videos with the blue line guys ??
Livin the dream 😊
Awesome stuff! Great to see how this channel has grown over the years. Any plans with the short bus crew?
Amazing video! Scotty you get top of the line reels but never use your drag! Hahahaha
Awe snap...you and your stache got a mention on Huge Fly Fisherman.
Best fishing vids on the tube.. excellent editing 🤙
Back in the 80s Hat Creek trophy section fished like that!
Great video fellas, I live in wasilla and have a spot not many people know or fish, pulling beautiful 20 inch plus rainbows every time I go, hit me up when you guys are in town I’ll take you guys out! Keep up the great work love the videos 🤙
Another great video.
Thanks guys for taking us along on another great fishing adventure.
And thanks to the fish for cooperating.
I know no surer way to lose a fish than have a friend say "the odds are with you"
Glad to see you knocked wood before catching that one.
Just stummbled accros your channel a week or so ago. AmazingI !! I grew up with a fly rod in my hand since I was 5. Fishing the Sierra's , tubing crowley, fishin the upper owens, hot creek, east waker and many more hidden streams along with excellent streamer fishing in my lakes. Fishing the swan river late next month in Montana. If you have time, what flies should i bring? Keep up the the great vide0s
Man these videos make me wish this is the life I have
I've always heard keep the rod tip below 10 or 2 o clock when setting the hook and fighting fish with the fly rod....not straight up.
Believe I heard that from Lefty Kreh and its always worked well for me
I did guide school with Jay... roughly around the time the dinosaurs were out there. Fishy dude.
