Wow! Your best yet. Hats off to Will for some spectacular cinematography! There were so many stunning shots, but one that comes to mind is the grizzly shaking off water. Or the gull flying through the frame. Or the drone shots of salmon .... so many beautiful images! And hats off to Scottie for the editing -- first class as always. And to Jesse for being the perfect -- and I mean perfect -- guy to take on this trip. And Alex for his smile and sunglasses, both of which are awesome.

I’ve always loved hiking and being outdoors, but I can honestly say I’ve never been big on fishing itself. But, I’ve recently become a new father and I’ve been living vicariously through your videos on CZcams. The production level and passion you guys have is absolutely palpable. I think you’ve made this guy into a new fisherman and hopefully take my daughter on some great adventures. Cheers boys!!
There are CZcams fly fishing channels and then there is WFP. Your work is first rate from a story telling and production POV. This one is off the charts fun to watch! Thank you for this fine content. This is one of my favorite fishing videos. I love the editing and it brings me back to my time where I lived in Kodiak Alaska, catching salmon, dollies, trout, etc.
Pay No Mind at the end is an absolute banger. This video is one easily one of my new favorites and Jesse did amazing!!

I have been an Alaska resident since I was 5 years old (20 years). I found fly fishing when I was 15 by a close friend of mine. Fly fishing to me has always brought me such peace and love for the outdoors. As I sit here watching this in Palmer Alaska I can't not be fulfilled with the joy and friend ships that fly fishing and the great state of Alaska has brought to people around the world.
What a legendary film. Everything about this trip looked amazing and that Alaska scenery in the back drop...epic!

I booked a trip after the last video to All Alaska Outdoors, we went in July last year. To say it was epic would be a massive understatement. We will never forget the experiences. Dr Bob and his team are fabulous.

I'm not sure why, but when I watch these videos it almost brings a tear to my eye. I've never seen a piece of film capture the free things in life so beautifully. I've fished once or twice in my life, but I can't stop watching these videos. Y'all inspired me to reconnect with my old friends and join them on their fishing trips this year. I wish y'all many many years of health and prosperity, you've given me a new lens to view life with.

Always look for to new Wild Fly videos and especially love the ones shot in my home state. After 28 years, I am still in awe of the beauty of the state of Alaska. A treasure to never be taken for granted. Congratulations to Scotty and the entire crew on this one.
I have to say this is my favorite Wild Fly video I have ever seen. The way the beauty of the area was captured was amazing and capturing Jessies thoughts, emotions and feelings throughout the video was perfect. I’m so happy he was the winner. His joy for what he was experiencing came through the camera and I was so happy for him. His enthusiasm, and gratitude and just good spirit was a part of why I really enjoyed the video. You guys are doing a fantastic job and only make me want to go out and fish more than I do.
This was an outstanding vid. I know I will never be able to do this with my son or grandson, but I feel I could feel the subscribers emotion of joy over this trip which made me feel maybe this would be the joy I would have. @ 71 I sit here in north Georgia learning how to fish these fish. But Alaska has been a dream for over 40 years. Thank you for sharing this wonderful trip with us. God bless.

Absolutely amazing video, from the videography to the editing to the choice of background music. That Robert Service poem was a powerful exclamation point to it. Also, on an equipment note: what was the general rod/reel/line setup you guys were using for the silver salmon? Going to do some landlocked salmon fishing in Maine later this summer and planning to hit up Alaska maybe next year so was thinking about splurging on a new heavier weight streamer setup that i might get some use out of on both trips.

Wow. Scotty I have been watching since you were at app. I’m an old dude that started fly fishing here in NC about the time you were in school. I’ve just gotten my guide license and started selling some flies. I can’t express how you and other like minded folks have given me the fire to follow my first love. Fishing has always been my way of disconnecting and connecting all at the same time with myself and nature. Jesse said it correctly that it is an emotional experience. Y’all have done exceptionally well with this. And the poem nailed it!

Dr. Bob is awesome. I did the "basic" float plane" trip with his team last summer. Great day! For the extra bucks, the one-fay Ultimate would be well worth it. "Next time" I go to Alaska, I will spring for that trip.
