I’ve genuinely become fan of Govee over the last few years. Like, 5 to 10 years ago we didn’t have this much of options or even none to add ambiance into our living environments

Hey Brian, thanks for the video. I have a question, is it possible for the floor lamp pro to be seen in google home as a speaker? I usually run Spotify on a home group of all my speakers and this would be a cool addition if it can be used like that.
Sadly you can't. However, you could Bluetooth pair it to a Google speaker you're not using :) That might be a really great way to do this. It seems to stay paired really well to speakers, etc. :)

Is the pro matter compatible? Cause that should hopefully work with smarthings
So right now the pro can't do matter although it does have all of the requirements, including a QR code. Once it gets the full update, which is slated for some time this year, it will be.
But keep in mind that matter doesn't allow the effects to be controlled in those other apps. It's just basic control.
But I did get the floor lamp 2 working in SmartThings! That lamp already has its matter update

It's a shame that you couldn't put an FL Pro on either side of the TV and have them play a stereo source from the TV. Maybe someday in the future?
I know! Maybe some day...but they'd have to solve the Bluetooth single pairing issue. If they do though...😃😃😃
Thanks for the awesome review as always. I’ve got a good one for ya. I’m building a Skoolie (40ft school bus to RV conversion) and I’m looking for a recommendation for good LED lighting. It would all need to run on 12v DC. Any good path you could send me down? I’m all in on Echo ecosystem.
Oof tough! You move that RV without solid internet and anything Alexa is gonna stop working. So maybe it's time to look at a local hub and a zigbee/z-wave version that works off 12 V. You may even be hard pressed to find that combo (as nothing comes to mind). So it might be a wled type of deal!

Hello, do you know, tell me their voltage, they are bivolt 110v and 220v
110 - 240 V AC on all adapters I've seen
I really struggled to choose one, was between cylinder and floor lamp 2. But I got both from Amazon to try out to see which one i prefer, or if still too difficult i may just keep both.

Oh my god you actually mentioned Music Creation Mode! Hardly anyone ever bothers to look into that stuff! Govee has said they won’t be adding Music Creation to any new lights, so maybe there will be those options in the DIY. Sometimes you see music stuff in the DIY section instead.

Just watched x2 other videos about these lights and, as always, your video is so much more informative and interesting. Just wish Govee products could be incorporated into SmartThings. With how Matter is at the minute I’d sooner have them visible in the platform of choice and not rely on Matter is possible. Are they visible to Homey as just trying to decide whether to go the Homey IR HA route as currently use SmartThings and Alexa but they are becoming restrictive in what I’m after.

Yeah I wish Govee would get some more integrations worked out too. Matter isn't a big help for the great stuff they do....
I've managed to bring them into Honey a couple ways. Through a homebridge (don't like reliability yet...though it's probably my fault), and through the Govee API (doesn't give effects). Oh and Matter ;)
Both are OK, but not the integration we need.
Is the cylinder brighter than the pro floor light?
I'm going to refer you to the spreadsheet we talked about. It is more complicated than just one is brighter than the other
So can’t I put 2 floor lamps pro on each side of my tv and play something from the tv, even if my tv let’s me connect 2 Bluetooth speakers?

I think just keep in mind that those measurements are happening physically on the device and are just related to the specific bead power.
They are not the overall brightness which you can see the measurements from Govee themselves on our spreadsheet
The best looking is the pro and that is probably what I would be buying for my own house.

Honestly only the cylinder floor lamp is unique. All the others are just simple silicon light strip on an ugly pole.
Maybe you couldn't tell but the Lamp Pro is not an ugly stick. That thing looks incredible
Yeah except the practicality is kinda not there. It looks kinda cool but for dream view it’s kinda limited. I prefer the Lyra over it honestly.
Thing is, for lighting a room (as opposed to accent lighting) without good quality light in terms of CRI and flickering, none of the other features matter 😕
The pro is 90+ :)
