This review is definitely appreciated since When i went to buy the lamp 2 with email discount, it was sold out. So i ended up getting the Lyra lamp but after seeing this video, i don't even want to open the box, I just want to return it for the lamp 2

Is it worth the upgrade. I bought the lyra 2 weeks ago but can get the floor lamp 2 for same price. So tempted to return the Lyra to uograde
Yes definitely worth the upgrade especially if you get it with he current discount directly from Govee or even on Amazon.
what about two of the pro? can they synch the sound? and... can they than both synch the speaker with tv soundbar ?
They only connect via Bluetooth so only if your device can connect to 2 Bluetooth devices at the same time. I Ly way I've seen this done before is from a Samsung phone.

Can you use this with the T2 for the TV?

great video as usual. I do have 1 comment however. You really dismiss the 'ancient' basic lamp (and I kind of get it if you compare it to the floor lamp 2) but right before this video I saw your comparison between the basic and the Lyra lamp, where you actually PREFERRED the basic lamp (as did I) as the upgrade didn't warrant the price difference. But now you seemingly look at that basic lamp as rubbish, and that's a little hard in my view. This basic lamp is still available and certainly is MUCH cheaper than the floor lamp 2 (which I feel is now the comparison to make). If you need the functionality, the lamp 2 beats the Lyra lamp hands down, so the Lyra is off my list. But if you just need some great accent lighting (with added features) the basic is STILL the sensible choice. I've had the basic for a long time now, and I'll be getting the lamp 2 soon. I think it's the best one... but just not for everyone or every purpose.
They there, I full understand where you're coming from. The next video I upload will explain and show all 4 floor lamps. For that you will understand why I chose to ignore the floor lamp standard.

I was between the Lamp 2 and cylinder. So, I just got both from Amazon and will see what I prefer in my room.

@fluxautomate I've had a couple of days with them. I love both, but very different ways. Gonna keep both. But 1 annoying thing is the cylinder had a small chip, which is not noticeable if turn it slightly, but got a replacement and that was worse than mine. Apart from that all is good with them.
Hmmm that's a shame. I wonder what's going on with the quality control??

@@fluxautomate the assembly was unnecessarily frustrating. 2 out of the 12 screws just wouldn’t go in flush, and one of the pieces just wouldn’t go flush to the other, and it’s driving my OCD off the charts LOL. Excited to see your take.
Haha I had a little issue with the screws du to the location at the base. But follgot it sorted in the end. Be careful that you don't mess the screw head up or strip the screws. 😎👍🏾

Worth the money if it lasts more than a year which many of these lamp types do not
I had the original Floor lamp and the White version of the Lyra lamps for over a year and use them every day. Not had a single issue with them and they always stay connected to my home automation platform (Alexa) unlike some other brands. So would say they defiantly do their job well
Why don't you review Govee Ai Sync 2 ?
So many products coming out right now I gotta be selective. sync box isn't that high on the list I'm afraid.

Govee should focus their endeavors into the quality of their products instead of releasing new ones. I purchased three of their Lyra lamps and two of them did not even come close to lasting a year and one of the replacement models has a glitch.
