Hello, live in the state of GA my wife and I own property here actually I'm the cosigner of that property I'm not a senior but my mom is. About 6 or 7 years ago my mom and I cosigned a lease property for my sister and she broke the lease and these people went after us and my mother doesn't have anything on her name she's currently living with my sister so this year we try to sell the house and find out that we have a lien on the it now my sister credit is fixed up she got two properties on her name now i'm in hole because of her carelessness. What is the best way to get this thing taking care off?
I have a property I bought in 2007 for 92k came up on hard times loss job. Then maxing out Credit card and I couldn't pay back interest too high. $7500 they sent court papers but I ignored them. I realized less than a yr later there was a lien on my house for payment. I still live in the home today and it's worth 120k I owe 70k wich leaves me with 50k equity. You said I could get homestead act?
@@ChristineCorey Hey I did a refinancing they said they would roll over the judgement lien amount to my new loan only to find out that they didn't put a lien on my house just a judgement against me. So I called the courts and ask for the attorney's that holds the judgement. Yesterday I spoke to them made a settlement with them for about 3k less than what I owed. I told them to send me a payoff letter and they did. The Mortagage company said they found No lien on the property, I swore I was told years ago that their was one😩😀

How about in Pennsylvania? Could one use the federal chapter 7 rules per this?

Also in foreclosure auctions, If there is a judgment on a house and was sold to another person, does the judgement stick to the property?
a judgment lien would be extinguished in a foreclosure sale

I am in Texas. Realtor with Mission Real Estate. What is a vendor's lien? And how can it find out what the amount of it is?
