- The 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup will be the 9th edition of the T20 World Cup. It will be hosted by the West Indies and the United States of America from 4 June to 30 June 2024. It will be the first ICC World Cup tournament to feature matches played in the United States. 20 teams will contest the tournament.

The fact of USA is that the stadium in New York ( Eishenhower Stadium ) , is still in building process ( just like how Qatar has done ) . If the stadium is incompleted , they told earlier that they will use baseball stadium . ICC confirmed that the finals and Ind vs Pak gonna happen in USA

Eishenhower park will be completed because it's not proper cricket stadium the stands will be made at a different location and will be assembled at the site after the world cup it will be dismantled and then transformed into a park.Its a modular stadium
But final should be in Florida because that stadium when it was completed it was a revolution in American cricket history or Barbados.

@@anonymous71319I guess if the new stadium will have better capacity then maybe ICC might decide to host the final there instead of the Kensington Oval or the Florida stadium, due to more ticket sales/advertising purposes, as we saw this year, Ahmedabad hosting the final over Mumbai/Kolkata despite the later having rich cricketing history.

Jamaica was the only member association of Cricket West Indies which did not submit a bid to host the World Cup, with Jamaican sports minister Olivia Grange ruling out a bid on cost grounds.

Not to mention, aussies, brits, caribbean, kiwis, Dutch fans who'll come to USA. Maybe some new fans might get created of the sport in USA. The matches might not sell out, but this tourney will either make or break cricket

There are no photos of New York cricket stadium it's just a park where stands will be made at a different location and will be assembled at the site and they will use drop in pitches.
After the tournament it will be disassembled and transform to public park.
Also using this modular stadium tech. ICC will double the capacity of Florida and Texas stadium.

In USA New York has 35k and Florida is expand to 40k but if you see West Indies those islands have population in lakhs so you can't expect 50-80k capacity stadiums.
