Baseball is a modified version of cricket , when initially the settlers ( consisting of British , irish , scottish , italian , spanish people ) found the land of America , with them they bought the game of cricket in America over the years the game took some major changes and became what we know today as Baseball in America . It was infact more popular than baseball at one time in the history of U.S.A , it was the time of American civil war .

Cricket is better than Football as this sport has different formats with different challenges in each format! This is T20 format world cup in which you have to score quickly in shortest format of the game!Football hasn't evolved, it's just the same!
As a person who loves both sports i don't think that's true. Cricket has different format because the old format of cricket was not catchy for the new generations so they had to evolve from First class cricket to ODI and again from ODI to T20 but i still think ODI is better format for cricket.
Football don't have many formats because it's perfect. Not literally perfect but what i mean to say is it is successfully able to attract new viewers.

Honesty, if the US becomes a major cricketing nation by the next 20-25 years, it will be MASSIVE becuz the US has a cultural aura. Baseball took off and replaced Cricket in countries like Canada, Bahamas, and the US itself, and made all of Hispanic Carribbean play Baseball and Basketball bevuz of American influences. If the US turns to Cricket, maybe these countries will also get more into Cricket and maybe, just maybe make inroads into Europe as well as it happened with Basketball or even Baseball
