Typical GM, build something good...then quickly discontinue it. They've been doing that my whole life, just can't help themselves.
Honestly, people who have the cash to get this should do so right away. There's no chance in hell that this thing will ever depreciate. Being as perfect as it is and the last of it's kind, it has all the makings of a collector car.

3.6 secs 0 to 60. I love ❤ that v8 sound. Nearly 700 hp. A Cadillac hellcat with better handling. It makes me think about the Pontiac G8 from back in the day for some reason 🤔.
These will never depreciate in value.

Good to know switching from gas to EV will save our planet from certain extinction in 12 years. It’s so wonderful to see the internal combustion engine reach its pinnacle and be canceled when the demand for it is stronger than ever.
I'm a die hard GM guy, have been my whole life. but huge props to GM for making a large 4 door sedan with an overpowered V8 , and most importantly MANUAL TRANSMISSION!! I don't even care if the automatic is faster on the track , and more efficient and easier to drive. I'm just so happy they still made a manual transmission performance car. To me this CT5 -V Blackwing is way more desirable than a C8 Corvette. I think GM flubbed the Vette, but that's okay , they nailed it with this Cadillac. It was legitimately hard to find any footage of these cars when they first came out, i've been dying for this video. Maybe if I win a lottery , I'll get one , I'll keep dreaming .. such an amazing car
This is probably the only car I would buy and keep forever. It’s literally perfect, and a great example of what GM’s engineering is capable of.
So I’ll be adding this CT5-V BW to my list of cars to own before I die, which includes cars like the VW Golf R Wagon, CTS-V Wagon, and C6 ZR1. I’ve got a thing for supercharged V8s and manual transmissions ❤️🔥❤️🔥

I saw the CT4-V in person and almost stepped on my tongue. Beautiful vehicles! If I didn’t have so much self control (and a bigger bank account) I would totally get one.
The more I see this car, the more I like it (not sure about the colour of this one, though). If I were a betting man, I'd put money on this being a future classic and highly collectible seeing as it will be the last Cadi with a V8.

I was just watching the Motor Week episode on the the early 90's DTS, I am still upset about the 80's but so proud of how far they have come.
Thank you Cadillac, for keeping it real. Europe hasn't produced anything like this in a while.
