Is the Pale Flame Set worthwhile for DPS Zhongli? (Assuming Phys DPS Zhongli is even worth running)
I have the Skyward at 90... So some people said like.... It is very bad on zhongli... Even the deathwatch is better... So should I stop using Skyward on him. I run him with xiao.

To tell you the truth, you can run him Physical DPS. But he is better Geo/Shield support. If people can turn the likes of Barbara, who is a pure healer into a DPS, then definitely yeah. Should you? I don’t know, because I don’t have him. But here’s a build that in theory should work.
If you want a Physical DMG weapon, Crescent Pike (forged) will give you that. If you really do want to run him Physical DPS, then 2 piece Pale Flame and 2 piece Bloodstained Chivalry, should be good, since 2 pieces of both sets offer 25% physical DMG, in total giving you 50%. If you want him to still have some Geo DMG go for 2 piece Archaic Petra. Want higher shield strength? 2 piece Millelith should do. Basically 2 piece pale flame + whatever you need. 4 piece Gladiator’s Finale ain’t too bad either, but there’s no Physical DMG bonus passive on that set. Pale Flame 4 set is another decent option, better than Gladiator’s Finale.
Stats you need:
Flower: Main Stat: HP (always HP)
Feather: Main Stat: ATK (always ATK)
Clock: Main Stat: ATK%,
Cup: Main Stat: Physical DMG
Crown: Crit Rate/Crit DMG
Sub stats you should focus on (from most to least): (Crit Rate and/or Crit DMG, ATK%, HP%, Energy Recharge, Elemental Mastery)
Generally, Crit Rate should be at least 50% and Crit DMG should be at least 1.5 to 2x the amount of Crit Rate. If you find you are lacking in either of these stats, try finding artifacts with better stats (although RNG will not be kind). I hope this helped. If you need help with other characters reply!
Try a spectrum editor and get a noise print of your clicking keys. It'll make it easier later to pull that directly out of your waveform

As someone who got Yanfei and Zhongli in just a few pulls, I pass you some of my luck, friends
first i lost a 50/50, to qiqi. then i got a very early zhong, managed a c3 yanfei and for some reason a mona. and leveling zhong li up i got mona again on the standard banner. so 3 new characters (4x 5 stars)in like 4 10pulls and a couple of single pulls on standard. I've also been lucky to get hu tao as well as venti on my absolute last pulls on their banners. problem is, i regret hu tao as i couldn't get a good weapon for her. and zhong li will have to do with lithic spear r4. well. time to pass on some luck to someone else. good luck everyone!

@@DJayFreeDoo How is hard to keep Hu Tao at low health if you don’t mind me asking? I’m a Hu Tao main and I’ve had her since the first day her banner dropped. I’ve never had problems with her HP being too high, and actually aside from lore connections, the main reason I want to pair her with Zhongli is that her HP is almost always too low unless I’m fighting hordes like in Contending Tides.

I also don't have staff of homa or any other actually good spear. so i feel she's kinda meh as what she does best is to run one shot nuke comps, and now with yanfei she really feels pretty useless because of her downtime.
@@DJayFreeDoo I mean... Not that YanFei is bad but Hu Tao is just waay better. The cd isn't even that bad. Like you could swap to Xinqui Diona/Zhongli, Venti or whatever the your Burst is back. Her charge attacks are super good even at C0. Well use whatever you want. I'm just telling you Hu Tao isn't useless.
@@freshmilk7122 when fighting multiple enemies with cryo shields which is what i hoped to do with hu tao shes not enough.yanfei does that really well however. so does bennet even though he's not c6. hu tao had too much downtime in that scenario and thats where i needed pyro dps the most. i rescently got two monas and not long before that venti and sucrose. i will be building those and than give hu tao another go. but i only have r4 lithic spear for her which i use on zhong li now. so she will only be at half her potential or even less actually since she's c0 compared to running staff of homa. so i feel like, for a oneshot nuke character i might as well just use bennet for that. my bennet hits way harder than my c4 ganyu with r1 amos bow atm. sadly i've farmed the blizzard strayer set for some time now and its been a long time since i got a descent artifact for her. i only get hp and healing bonus. havent seen any other primary stat for a good while now on blizzard strayer. i farmed chrimson witch set for a good while to to get some extra pieces so i wouldnt have to steal from bennet to use on hu tao, but hu tao needs her hp, and so far i only get hp on the wrong pieces for her.

Step 1: find a hilichurl
Step 2: *let the hilichurl swing his arm off by swinging his club*
Step 3: challenge the oceanid
step 4: challenge childe without dashing/dodging
Step 6: get stepped on by ur new waifu azdhaha
Step 7:Fall from the sky to test the shield durability
Step 8: Don't follow all this steps if you don't have Geo Daddy

My advice, if you gave Zhongli and Albedo, always run them together even just as supports. Geo Resonance gives a very nice damage boost to all characters in the shield, plus you get a lot of Geo damage even while they're off the field. I personally use them with Hu Tao.

I find hi C2 essential, worked so hard to get it, I play COOP with my wife pretty much all the time, and also another RL friend couple we know, so being able to shield all characters (inc theirs) with ultimate is amazing for me. For those who coop with friends a lot, C2 is great! I have my ZL broken, 200% ER, 28k health, decent attack and crit/crit dmg. Kind of permanent shield friends with ultimate and it comes back easily on time every 20 seconds (usually waiting on cooldown depending on enemies) and still does bout 60k dmg. thanks for the video, lots of useful stuff

Of course, Zhongli’s simply just a really flexible support unit
However, I will mention that he works especially well for Hu Tao, Xiao, Ningguang, and Ganyu, as:
-Hu Tao wants to keep low HP but not having resistances will, well, kill you fast. But, a shield maintains that low HP while still having a defensive option.
-Xiao also has self-harm properties, so having a shield on standby really helps with not accidentally dying because you’ve been using him for too long and the enemy got a single hit on you.
-Ningguang, geo resonance good what a big surprise
-Ganyu, being an archer, doesn’t really have much stagger resistance during attack animations and is also quite frail, oh wow shields just kind of does all of that wow who could have guessed
First time of my life i won my 50/50 and got Zhongli! Everything now has become MASSIVELY easier. I beat Abyss floor 12 for the first time that day I got Zhongli. With 7/9 stars! Best character

I got Zhongli finally! His elemental skill is so good for farmimg ores like wth. But its kinda weird tho. His E doesnt farm large area of ores unlike the ones i've tested. Also, his ulti doesnt summon a meteor instead a.....idk...a big purple wolf. Pluus my zhongli is short. Someone pls help!

I still prefer the Petra + Noblesse. Zhongli burst does insane damage. It's a shame to use him as a shield bot instead
I do 60k from his burst with R5 Lvl.90 The Catch while having HP and Crit DMG Noblesse and Petra artifacts. He has 41k HP and it helps me one shot mobs sometimes.

Tip for people who run him Full HP Build. Do not heal him with a Statue of Seven. This MF will drain your statues dry. Use Qiqi A4 passive or Burst or Bennet Burst to heal him up.
I can’t count how many times my HP Zhongli has drained my Statues dry. This was even before Milelith and Homa were even available.
Bro I didn't get this the first time, I healed him with a statue, the second time he died it didn't fully heal him.

One thing to note is that Zhongli's burst animation being so long can also work as a way to dodge attacks. For basically the entirety of the fixed camera angle, he cannot be hit. If you just need a break from dodging attacks (due to lack of stamina, or smth else), this can be useful.

I was going to save for Eula, but when watching her abilities etc I decided to do the 50/50 on zhongli. With my c1 hu tao ill probably never really use Eula in my team anyways, but Zhongli would be amazing as a support and will probably play with him more than i would ever with Eula. Just got Zhongli and realized I have absolutely nothing for him.... so here we are!

Nice to know my grinding for this new set wasnt in vain(lucky with a lot of hp% stats too). Got Zhongli on pity then I somehow got blessed by RNG gods and my next solo got him to c1. Tbh I keep trying to pull for more Yanfei constellations, but I'm not complaining about a c1 on a 5* I wanted.

I finally got him! I only have him on lvl 60 for now with temporary artifacts and a random weapon, but man he just powers up my Ningguang so much.

Just a little note, you said the 2nd constellation is useless, because you can just hold the skill. The constellation is meant for CO-OP, so when you ult everyone on the field gets your shield.
