Мы с мужем планируем тоже побывать в Польше Аушвиц 1 ,Германии Аушвиц 2 , Австрии Аушвиц 3 . Дело в том что Отец был узником концетрационного лагерья .Душа хочет посетить ,сердца не выдерживает сразу Инфаркт . Неможим представить как можим там дышать зная с чего люди там прошли ! Как они там умирали ,как выживали ,? Как терпели . Слёзы текут наварачиваются . Помним ,скорвим , и переживаем.Страх не покидает нас .Человечество погибло страшных условиях .Чудо что Отец вернулся полумёртвый ёледыщещый . Блогодарна Вам за показ тяжелый ад жизни , смерти !

thank you for sharing. We visited both camps last weeks and are still in shock of what we've seen. This should be mandatory for high school kids. This should never be forgotten.
Hi Cathy, thanks very much for adding your comment. I think a visit to Auschwitz will never leave you and nor should it. I was told that it is mandatory for all schoolchildren in Poland to go to the camps.
@@DodgersTrips you're right. I live in Belgium and it should be mandatory here as well. We will be visiting Fort Breendonk (Belgium) soon, as we have not yet visited in... it is rather embarrassing that we haven't...

did you see the swimming pool?
At first I thought is this question a bit of a sick joke but then I googled it and saw there is actually a film called "Swimming In Auschwitz" with a photograph of the pool. I shall have to watch that and also rewatch my own film to see if I unknowingly walked past ithe pool. Thank you for your comment and altering me to a part of the camp's history I was unaware of.
@@DodgersTripsAs you walk through the Arbiet Mach Frei gate, off to your left is block 24. 1st floor was a library, and the 2nd floor was a brothel staffed by 10 women
