Massi Jan that grocery store you went to is Korean. And Koreans traditionally gift fruits to family , and that’s why those fruits that were packed are so expensive. Even in Korea fruits are really expensive. You should go to Walmart.
Masi, I’m from Sydney, Australia, and moved to Hamburg, Germany. I can tell you that the prices you showed in Canada aren't far off from those in Sydney. Things have become really expensive compared to Germany. I like how the Germans have tried to keep prices low. The only downside of Germany is that it’s boring and there isn't much to do locally.

Toronto is an expensive city to live in however the Chinese grocery store you went to tend to be more expensive than other local grocery stores. Try going to freshco, no frills, food basic, walmart, real canadian superstore. Also the restaurant you went to is an Iranian restaurant, try going to Afghan Flame but they’re in Mississauga. in Toronto, go to Kandahar kebab, Bamiyan Kabob or Naan Kabob. Go to the Afghan stores in toronto by Lawrence and Markham rd!! We’re known for our afghan community there with afghan stores, restaurants and bakery. For malls check out Scarborough Town Centre (my fav), Fairview Mall, Yorkdale Mall, Eaton Centre or Upper Canada Mall.

شما باید بفهمین که ارزش دالر کانادا کمتر از دالر آمریکا و یورو است ، اگر یک بوتل جوس شش دالر کانادایی باشد شاید به یورو (دو ونیم ) یورو شود که در هالند هم تقریباً همین قیمت میشود. اما شما قیمت ها را دیده بسیار وارخطا میشدید که چقدر قیمتتی است.
