Awesome footage. You can see how the Trent meanders upstream towards Laneham. My dad referred to this part of the river as - the "Trent arm."

What is? The flooding?
This part of the tidal Trent, is purposely allowed to flood, to take pressure off and reduce flooding elsewhere, which could be far more serious and costly.
