Excellent work. I wish some of these tools and products were available when I was dong bodywork back in the late 80's and early 90's. Our "Quick Check" back then was hitting it with a thinner mix of primer wet coat and quickly looking down the side to check for straightness. Love the videos

having the right tools makes all the difference...epoxy primer should have been sprayed before applying filler, it provides a moisture barrier

Nice work but that looks like rust waiting to happen! Bondo on bare metal is old school new days you need to do your Bondo work on top of your primer. Still nice work!!!
Honestly, I've never seen the metal fail under the bondo over bare metal unless the metal either has a micro crack or a pinhole. In this case, primer or not, it will fail regardless. I do agree with you that primer over the bare metal is best practice. Thanks!
You do really nice work!! But as far as I know most paint products paint reps tell my bond is pores and to do it that way I'm a old school guy that has done it your way for years.but have had less problems the new way . Keep us the good work

@@colinhamer6506 make the guys that will not change their ways do the repair when it comes Back because it has falled. When it costs them and not you they will see the value in the new way if that doesn't work! Fine some new help!
