Really hated all the grief people gave to local boys like Forrest, Turnbull, Ralston etc. Often made the difference and always gave 110%. If they weren't Scottish they would be all over them. Is it just good old fashioned jealousy?
Jamsie could be the difference. . Let’s be honest it’s getting there at any cost .. However it’s a case of we are a poor team and the others are probably a bit worse… I do understand the supporters unrest as the product has been absolutely pitiful and I think there has been a lot of reasons for this , but the dreadful recruitment has been the biggest issue . This summer absolutely no excuses no penny pinching we must pepper our squad with guys good enough to wear the shirt ..

I mentioned this about using James Forrest months ago , why he could still be valuable to the squad and have a massive influence in the team when we were struggling, and I got laughed at , well these doubters ain’t laughing now , BR mentioned he’s the best winger we have at the club , and he’s right with his quote , he’s proven he can still delivers in important games, my theory was right, he’s help us to another final and he got us three points yesterday, Forrest is showing the rest of the team the way to grab a game by the scruff of neck and burying the chances in the back of the net, he’s been there many times, he knows what it takes , and he’s showing the rest of these wingers how it’s done , it’s up to the rest to follow his example, we’ve got four cup finals to get us over the line, and Forrest is going to play a huge part in these weeks ahead 💚🍀👏👏👏👏

Too much riding on this campaign to be overly precious about performances. We can address that in the summer.
Agree with what you're saying in terms of the win being most important, every points a prisoner at this stage etc.
I would snap your hand off for 5 more performances like that and 5 wins. The concern for me is our lack of control going into the last 20 mins of games, against Rangers we started hoofing the ball long and inviting pressure, against aberdeen was the same, and the same thing happened yesterday.
There were plenty of performances like this under ange, but the difference is now that there seems to be a panic that sets in when the game is tight near the end.
The saving grace really is that Rangers look even more nervy, I can't see us winning every league game between now and the end, but I can't see them doing it either.
I think you’re spot on regarding the squad strength & depth . Loss of Jota , Mooy & Starfelt . Injuries to Hatate & McGregor have stretched us also as we don’t have first team replacements for them bhoys .
We have 5 massive games left .
Keep grinding out the results & we will hopefully be able to invest heavily in squad upgrades & sell off those players who simply are not up to it .

It’s tells you were Celtic are when we are relying on one of the oldest players at the club who was basically on the way out. He was the ONLY pass. We are truly ROTTEN - if that was any other club you’d have switched OFF after 10 mins. 90% of our games this season we’re struggling to beat EVERY team or we actually get 90 mins out this team. I don’t trust this current team to see this out with only 4 games left. This is the levels our board are at. And if this was Ronnie Delia’s team that’s played this way all season he’d have been hounded out. This reminds me of Rodgers last season. If we can’t win this league after losing and 8 point lead then Rangers giving it back to us then we don’t deserve anything this season. I don’t trust this board to do anything right over this summer and Rodgers isn’t beyond criticism. You can only be so lucky eventually scales Taylor hart will balls it up.

Ryan scales is not the answer and taylor I've said this all year. Another point what's happening to players like Kyogo, Oreilly, Hatate and McGregor they were crap. If we don't take in charge of the midfield then that's when pressure gets put under pressure

Hi Ryan look I agree it's 3 ponts but it's really desperate that we are playing Forrest to win a match. Celtic have not progressed from last season. It is up to Rodgers when he came in to bring in quality players and he didn't do it. Look at the season so far out of Europe early the league Cup. We're struggling now to retain the title because we didn't invest in the team. But after the display against Dundee the league is not in the bag. Mark my words we will struggle against Hearts, Rangers and Kilmarnock. We should nit be in this position at all. Again will say the board has taken the piss out of the celtic support for to long. If jota and Abada were still in the team the oldest player Forrest would be sitting on the bench it's pathetic we have went backwards 😢

Players need to watch and learn from JF, two touches and he either crosses or shoots. Other wingers take too many touches and the opportunity is lost.
We're not a great side, admittedly, however we need to get behind the team, get over the line and regroup with some new players in the summer. The huns are not a good team either thankfully.

On the point about goal of the season contender - why the hell are these awards - goal of the season, player of the season etc etc - voted for weeks before the end of the season? There's still plenty that can still happen. It's never made any sense to me. Should change the name to Goal of Three Quarters of the Season, Player of Three Quarters of the Season etc

It's always baffled me as to why Celtic hold player award voting a month before the season even ends. How are you going to decide on goal of the season without having seen all the goals? And if multiple players are in contention for player of the year, as is usually the case, the race could easily change in the last several matches. On a different note, would love to see Jamesy stay a one-club man. But we at least need him around next season so he can get to 500 appearances, and have a chance to become the single most title winning player in Celtic history.

Jeeze Ryan must have been some Christening. You really thought Scales had a good game. He kills every bit of impetus we can muster when he strolls out. Dundee gave him freedom of city first half, then learned and pressured him from start of second half
Well he did have a good game. Letting your witch hunt for the player get in the way of your eyes...
This in my opinion is a poor Celtic team. Hopefully we get the title over the line but it’s a B- for me this season so far. Lots of work required for next season.
Hart- didn’t have much to do in the first half doesn’t command his box from crosses the time wasting in the second half was embarrassing good time to retire been a good servant but it’s time to move on at the end of the season.
AJ - not the same player he was under the previous manager didn’t do anything in attacking sense and defensively, I thought he looked suspect at times.
CCV- looks jaded and fed up because he has to carry the defence second game in a row where he lost out in physical battles with their striker thought he had a poor game.
Scales - not Celtic class again didn’t deal with the physicality of their striker well at all crosses into the box he doesn’t deal with them at all well and ball watches and when he has the ball doesn’t move quickly enough because he hasn’t got the ability dreadful display from the Irish defender.
Taylor- simply not good enough can only play one way offers nothing in an attacking sense and it targeted for his lack of height down that side.
McGregor - unfit and unable to influence the game was bullied in the midfield by Dundee’t two.
Hatate- looks disinterested didn’t get on the ball enough yes he hit the post in the second half but that was the only thing he done the rest of the game. He was doing nothing that was a shocking display from him today and he is my favourite player, but he’s not immune to criticism. I thought Sylla had his number.
O’ Riley- again disinterested not the same player he was earlier in the season transfer bid possibly making his head turn not a good performance at all.
Kuhn- seriously who thought getting this guy was a good idea again not good enough and offered nothing another pointless signing who we spent cheap money on very poor
Forrest- MOTM two goals was the best player in green and white today good servant to the club but he shouldn’t be your best winger technically the Recruitment team again is to blame for this.
Kyogo- tired but non existent style of play doesn’t suit him another player who has regressed.
Subs
Idah- mixed bag did some decent hold-up play but then gave away a stupid free with a clumsy tackle was unlucky with the goal mediocre performance when he came on.
Palma - another one who isn’t good enough for Celtic did nothing when he came on offers. Nothing complete waste of money would get rid of him in the summer along with most of our wingers.
Iwata - Best of the 3 subs I thought he brought more sustainability to the midfield when McGregor went off can be happy with his display

@@lf67hh28 Completely agree the wingers and midfield service to the attackers has been shocking and is the main reason kyogo has struggled. But Rodgers has to take the blame for buyng the players in the first place. He has had all season to sort out the system and still players wont pass or cross quick enough to match the strikers runs. When its clear the wingers arent good enough he refuse to change and play two up top. To say none of this is on Rodgers is just being blind to the obvious.

Ryan what a lot of crap. You blinded and completely out of touch with what’s going on in the park. Brendan Rodger’s is pathetic on many fronts. We have the best winger in the club never gets a start and when he does he makes immediate impact. We could go on and on.
If you play bad and still win you deserve the points , if we play like that against the huns nobody will complain cos we will busy giving " We shall not be moved " the loud treatment , but we need to game up right to end of the season. and the Board better start going to the shops and get some serios talent for Europe .
