  • Matthew's church is a church building located in Folkparken in central Norrköping, Östergötland.
The church is built in neo-Gothic style and was designed by architect Helgo Zettervall between 1887 and 1892. The inauguration took place on 8 May 1892 in the presence of the then bishop of Linköping, Carl Alfred Cornelius.
    Exterior
The church has three naves and it has a tower in the east, 64 meters high. It has a pointed scepter surrounded by four phials (small towers). In the tower there are three church bells that weigh resp. 3500, 1955 and 1200 kilograms.
The church is clad in brick, but cement also appears in several prominent places.

There is also a pulpit with pictures of Christ, Paul and the four evangelists and their attributes. There are nine Gothic windows, 9 meters high, with stained glass with images from the Gospel of Matthew. Two of the windows have stained glass made by Bo Beskow. In the eastern gallery there is a pipe organ with 58 parts, it was completely renovated in 1992.
The church was reopened in March 2022 after an extensive restoration led by Fredriksson Arkitektkontor in Norrköping. The church room has been partially restored to a more original appearance. Ceilings and wall surfaces have been cleaned and in some cases restored.
