#RallyTactical - Jak na to + styl
All i know is i sold my m4. It would not cycle lighter loads. Some said it has to break in. Some said it was designed for heavy loads for military use. My 1 cent is.. when ammo was hard to find and slugs and buckshot were not on the shelf. I want to be able to shoot what i can find. The 1301 eats it all. I enjoy shooting it more too.
Did you ever have to break in the 1301 with heavier loads. I have a a300 ultima and it only will cycle #4, 1 1/4 oz loads. It won’t cycle lighter but I haven’t shot it a lot
I currently have 3 m4, and previously sold 2, 3 of them brand new. All 5 cycled 7.5 1oz target loads from the moment I got them in my hands without issues, and with hip firing. You might have had a lemon
@@sunnesonne I’m good now. I think I broke it in now. I can run 1oz bird shot through it now. Thanks for the reply
I have had 3 M4's never had a single issue, you had a lemon
It was a toss up for me between the M4 and 1301 I ended up with the M4. It’s been my dream shotgun for a long time. I may pull the trigger so to speak on the 1301.
I just bought my wife a 1301 LE with the Mesa Tactical stock but she didn't like it so I just put it with all my other guns in the safe. Since the 1301 couldn't buy her love I'm trying a Zastava M70 7.62X39 for her Birthday this April. If that doesn't work I'm not stopping. I'll keep buying guns until I find the one for her. (sarcasm) I did buy a 1301 and love it but I think the jury is still out as to whether it can replace the M4 as king. That Benelli M4 has the seal of approval as being Marine proof and a long history behind it. I hope the Beretta 1301 does replace it as king of shotguns but I think were going to have to wait a while to find out. I passed on the M4 to buy the 1301 but not because of the $600 savings. More so videos like this one that convinced me. There are just too many people out there saying the same thing as you about this gun but regardless the M4 is a beast and you can't take that away from Benelli. Great video sir.
Thanks for another great video! I appreciate the detail you guys go into. I'm very new to the space, so I'm trying to learn what's gonna fit my needs best
I have the GG&G 509T mount for my 1301. also added a Mesa Tactical stock shell holder and Roth Performance Xtra Shell caddy by the ejection port.
Love it and that setup. Great video guys
The A300 Patrol;
Hold my beer
I opted for the 1301 because the M4's civilians can buy in America are "neutered" you then have to turn around and buy a standard capacity tube and then try to find the actual complete collapsible stock.
Thanks for the informative review.
I just subscribed and really like your videos.
I usually research the hell out of anything before I buy. After learning more about the reliability, ergonomics, and gas system on the 1301; this is my choice.
@@RallyTactical Thank you!
New subscriber! Awesome video man! Have one of these on the way… never been much of a shotgun guy, so we’ll see how I take to this one.
Im going to get the briley handguard for mine to add a bit more weight to help with recoil.
Great review mate
Great video! Can you share your setup (red dot and sling adapter at the stock end)?
Great, succinct overview with awesome shooting scenes. Could you please tell me how to order that sling set up you have? I just bought the exact same model of 1301, and your sling set up is the best I have seen. Thank you.
Nice review. But, I wonder if the 1301 Tac is really $400+ better than getting a stock 1301 and adding what you want?
Great Video!
It's not going to kill the M4 if you can't find one to buy. I spent months looking for one on and offline, with no luck. Then, one day, I saw an M4 sitting on a rack at my local sporting goods store. So I got that instead, the horror. I'm not sure how I'll survive settling for the Benelli.
Still...Beretta straight up lost a sale because of the lack of availability.
You got proven, instead of trendy.
I, too, will probably spring for a 1301T...when the frenzy calms down.
By then, there’ll be many out there developing a history that will only better inform a purchase.
Fact is, you now have at least a tie for the best made.
Enjoy.
Beretta is the parent company of Benelli.
Beretta still won because Beretta owns Benelli.
Thanks for the video. I just purchased a Baretta A300 ultima patrol. Can you tell me about the LPA rear sight on your M4? I want to upgrade my polymer rear sight.
Man I'd still love to see these 2 shotguns again the mossberg 940 tactical, which is optic cut already. No rails needed
Supposedly the gen 2 has a metal rear sight but that might just be a rumor? Although the gen 1 rear sight still seems fine.
Great video brother! Just bought a 1301 but the wait time is crazy long right now. If you don’t mind me asking, which light and mount do you have? Also, what is you sling set up? Which sling and mount. Thanks bro.
Have you tried the Mossberg 940 tactical?
Please compare the Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol and the Beretta 1301 Tactical.
This is the first 12 I seriously consider owning.
There's one things that concerns me though. Is it true that the picatini rail is made out of polymer?
Beretta is the oldest and still one of the best weapons manufacturer ever, but mate, Benelli is on another leverl talking about shotguns. The pump actions Nova and Supernova and the semiauto M2-M4 are by far the best shotgun ever made. I love them.
Note aside: it deserver to be mentioned both M3 (mixed) is one of my fav as the Franchi SPAS-12.
I dumped my Benelli M4 after picking up a 1301 tactical. Far better in a lot of ways for a combat shotgun IMO.
can you adjust the rise/height of this non pistol grip stock like the Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical?
How did you attach the Inforce weapon light?
GG&G is Outstanding
That’s all I buy for shotgun parts
Great 1301 content!
I have a lot of interest in my m4 LE/Mil and I would like to know a lot more about it?
You mentioned you knew the arm well?
Maybe you could show us what you have gleaned from your experience with it?
Tips and Tricks?
Handling and manual of arms from your experience?
Best ways to use the collapsing stock?
Would like to see it!
Sadly I'm not on Instagram FB. Pls consider placing it on CZcams?
What light and sling are you running?
I've had my eyes on this for a good while now, but they just announced the A300 Ultima Patrol and I think that may be the road I go down. Shoots softer than the 1301, but is just ever so slightly slower (operating wise) than the 1301.
Your journey is exactly like mine! The Patrol has all the goodies you will need to add to the 1301 and sells for hundreds less. As to speed shooting, I have never been able to shoot well at more than maybe 2shots/second, so the BLINK system while amazing would be lost on me. The A300 Ultima Patrol is now in my sights and when they are available (I've been looking without success) I'll add one to my collection. 😊
Watch some videos critical of A300. Interesting
I love this gun
What about cleaning, price ?
How did u get the flashlight on it
I've had a Beretta 1201FP for 20+ yrs and I love it...this is just a modernized version of that gun...
IF I had one wish/request, make it a magazine fed, or a version that was magazine fed...
Haha, please. That would be a ridiculous shotgun.
I'll get one, but...as far as I'm concerned,, the M4 is in a class by itself.
I'd like to see more about the Blink system, and a breakdown for cleaning.
I'm concerned about the durability and beefiness of the piston.
Seems delicate in the one or two videos that bother to delve into the system.
Also, that bolt release seems like a hook to catch on things.
Did yours feature the choked barrel?
Good video.
You will never regret it. I will say that the bolt catch was one thing in particular that made me choose a 1301 over almost every other semi 12 gauge. Every single one that I can think of has a standard button bolt catch, and if you pressed the bolt catch or if it presses against something or yourself you can send shells Into the carrier causing a jam. Berettas latch design is awesome and no amount of pressing the bolt catch will do that.
There's a video about the 1301 having a gas ring break after just under a thousand rounds. A couple people commented on that video saying the same thing happened to theirs so you being concerned about the blink system is justifiable. The dual piston system on the M4 seems to be much more robust. Both have their own pros and cons, but the durability of the M4 is major pro that's often overlooked when comparing the two shotguns.
Thanks for the response, and yes, almost every system has a head scratcher.
I actually like the Benelli bolt release button. It’s a little stiff, but it has a low profile that suits me.
And you’re right, time in the field goes to the M4.
Still, the Beretta’s popularity lately will see a great many units out there...writing their own story...pretty quickly.
If there are durability issues with it’s Blink system...it won’t take that long to show up.
I’m looking forward to many more great videos, like yours, to keep us posted.
Thanks again.
Just remeber who owns benelli
The issue with the placement and feeling of the safety is a non issue if you're accustomed to using a Remington model 870 pump action.
Very beautiful
I wish they make a semi auto rifle with the tube configuration to get around laws
I have both. And I like the 1301 way better then my m4
Really? Have an m4....I'm crazily thinning of selling it for a 1301
@@dante69d a ton of people are starting to do that but many M4 owners swear the 1301 is a "Walmart" version of the M4. Weird to see the shift towards the 1301 but I definitely don't regret getting mine
Me too! I sold the M4.
@@connor1982 That's what happens with specific brand disciples...can't see where something else might be better. Their brand has to be the best because its their brand. My 1301T outperforms the M4 ANY day of the week. I sold the M4. I loved Benelli's but the Beretta is better IMO. To each his own though...you should be running what works best for you in a crisis......not something just because the military has used it.
I am soo interested in this shotgun, had my first shotgun at age 10...I'm a boomer and thanks for the video...
No current shotgun on the planet is a benelli m4 killer. The action may be faster and impressive, but ill take a proven m4 into combat any day and twice on Sunday over a 1301.
Personally, I think the only draw back to an m4 is the plastic trigger guard. Eadily upgradable, however thats extra cost that shouldn't need to exist.
Remington versamax tactical...more reliable with more loads, sorry proven fact
@@fzr1000981 hardly.
WHO IS GOING INTO COMBAT ?
NICE PIECE .. I STILL PREFER SEMI AUTOS ... EVERY TIME YOU RACK A LOAD WITH PUMP ... YOU GOT SERIOUS 'RE-TARGETING'
i dont know i never had a M4 but i love the 1301 to shoot
Picked up my m4 last week, it was because I couldn’t find a 1301 anywhere.
While I am stoked for the Benelli, I really wanted the Beretta for its light weight and better features.
That's exactly why I sold my 930 SPX for the 1301, it's weight.
@@captainmorgan5106 if you don’t mind where did you find your 1301? My FFL couldn’t find one at all.
I’ve since heard that they are even more scarce now.
@David Bonner It was a small shop in Arizona. They had 3 in stock and all 3 were gone the next day.
I got lucky, mine was one of the 3.
Today, I got a notice from Grab A Gun that they were back in stock.
You might check them real quick.
Exile armory has some. Just purchased one myself.they have a CZcams channel.
Lol, that’s the first time I’ve heard someone having to buy an m4 because they couldn’t find a 1301. I’m not mocking the 1301 mind you because it’s excellent. What great about the 1301 is out of the box it’s already got all the bells and whistle’s especially the 7 round capacity unlike the m4 whereas if you buy the neutered version still have to invest in collapsing stock and +2 capacity.
true operator....
It’s light because it’s all plastic, one thing I haven’t seen is a burn down! I have a a400 extreme and after about a 1000 rds and the gas system starts giving you issues and I shoot 3 1/2 steel shot! The factory sights are plastic! The benelli m4 eats it alive! The Argo system is bulletproof!
I don't get the obsession with "light weight" either, are you operator doing 30 mile patrol in the jungle with 85lb ruck sack? Whats the 2lb weight difference really that much of huge advantage.
@@pdog109 The extra weight of an m4 or other shotgun isnt too much of an issue. But the slightly smaller overall length, shorter stock and noticably lighter weight of the 1301 makes it feel like an incredibly nimble shotgun. Compared to a 590a1 and a benelli m4 it just feels significantly more maneuverable than the other two.
@@RallyTactical If you don't have a lightweight gun you aren't an operator
Who shoots 1,000 rounds at a time?🙄
the Berreta 1301 is not settling over a Benelli its just an alternative.
M4 killer. Beretta took 25 years of m4 lessons, implemented and improved them in a lighter faster shotgun for $500+ less. Also feeds more loads when the m4 will have issues with lighter birdshot loads. Why own a $2000 gun that is limited to expensive buck and slug loads? Birdshot is *great* for training.
For me, the best best M4 killer is the FABARM SAT 8 Pro Tel
Beretta Holdings must be getting a good laugh out of people arguing which one of its shotguns is better.
12-14 ” patrol car size would be neat.
Rifle size 12 then why not .308
Do you want to sell that factory rear stock ?
I have the Urbino, but looking for the standard factory one.
E-Bay
@Вероника Дудник Thanks.
I didn't even think about ebay for gun parts.
@@captainmorgan5106 My 1301 Tactical came with a crooked buttstock. So I bought a brand new take off from e-Bay,. Then I also bought a brand new buttstock/forend set in FDE there. Some people get rid of stock furniture.
Berett❤
The weight of the M4 is a BIG factor
ادا جيد احسنت
Nobody's saying the Benelli is not a great shotgun it is however the Beretta being considerably less is a Benelli killer
Any semi made for lefties?!
There are some out there. I have a Benelli Super Black Eagle left handed 12 gauge. It's the only lefty shotgun I have. I love it! It ain't cheap, but you get what you pay for with Benelli. As a lefty I've gotten used to shooting right handed gear. If you can do without the pistol grip, the Mossberg 940 pro tactical is great, and the center safety is easy to use for anyone. Legendary speed shooter, Jerry Miculek helped design this gun. I'm partial to a pistol grip for a tactical shotty. Otherwise, I would be all over the Mossberg. Still can't decide between the Beretta and the Benelli. Cost, weight and loading port injuries are the biggest weakness of the M4, IMO. That and the extra cost to bring the M4 to where it needs to be. Magazine tube. Trigger guard. Fore grip. Etc.
@@3-2-1-. I’ve gotten used to shooting everything right too! Taking a few brass to the face builds character 😂. All my 9mm I’ve changed the mag release to other side. Just seeing if any equipped to be lefty right away
Man i wish i had your arms
Short answer, No not a Benelli M4 killer. Fit, finish, function & feel the 1301 comes up short. While a good shotgun I’ll keep using my M4 LE. Good review though…
@Guns 4 Less, the action on the M4 seems more solid. I hate how the 1301 sounds and feels when U work the action. The takedown of the M4 is easier and better. I love the telescoping stock on my M4. The 1301 is faster but the M4 recoil is better an keeps me on target. Lastly longevity and parts. I've got a couple thousand shells thru mine in the 7 months I've had it. Never missed a beat and ate everything....
Stock Benelli, 5 round mag tube, tiny charging handle, fixed stock until you can find the retractable one. They go for $900, tiny little bolt release button. Yes they run fantastic but you also run the risk of Benelli bite with each load and that's the first thing you do. Weld the carrier.
Beretta 1301 gen2 has everything you need out the box that Benelli wishes it had while being 2 lbs lighter. Gen3 just came out and they are the M4 killer. Heck the new A300 patrol's cost a grand less and time will tell if they perform. Also the Moss 940 pro tactical is giving it a run for the money too. M4 is not the end all
@Ark Tactical , sounds like you are reading from an article. Have you ever even shot both? Let alone owned them. Never had the supposed Benelli bite, I have a 7 round tube I have a LE with collapsible stock. Sounds like your pricing is off also. Button and charge handle work fine, this is a Combat shotgun after all.
I think you have to take into account the money you’ll spend when comparing the two, the 1301 is the best overall value shotgun on the market.
@@Gigachad_97, the original question was it a Benelli M4 Killer. If you have the $$$ why not get the Best or the one You want? The M4 checks all my boxes, as well as my Marine, Special forces teams around the World. Except No substitutes… Semper Fi…!!!
Good good giod 🤗🌹♥️⚘🖐
I just picked up a new mossberg 930 spx and today I see my store just got this in. It got me good but I only paid 900 for mossberg and the beretta was 1700 so I don't think I'm missing out. I will buy a 1301 marine though no matter what.
OWN MARINE TACTICAL; MARINECOTE VERY SOFT,SCRATCHES EASILY.
0:26 had to be the most pathetic attempt at running ive ever seen, that really made my morning and had me laughing.
The 1301 is a very nice shotgun but nothing built today could ever be considered an M4 killer. The M4 is just superior to anything out there. I own both and I’ve added the Kick Off stock with a Limbsaver Airtech recoil pad to the 1301 and the M4 shots heavy 3” mag loads softer than my modded 1301 shoots heavy 2 3/4” loads. The 1301 is lighter and cycles rounds a bit faster but it can’t handle the BEEF!
No one’s discussing the actual systems. The real question is ARGO vs. B-Link. The B-link is %36 faster but not as rugged and reliable as the ARGO.
Beretta is the parent company of Benelli.
Unless you have the proven ( reliability ) of the Benelli m4 ~ it's no were near a " Benelli m4 killer " ..
You guys do know that Beretta owns Benalli.
The m4 can't touch the 1301, you will never be able to load it as fast or even run it as fast or hard, and if your talking aftermarket the gap widens even more.
Sounds like Ford vs Chevy ...thats ok..drive Toyota...and works..and out live me..children..
คือตอนที่เขาเข้าต่อตีที่ตั้งปืนลูกซองมันช่วยเขายิงผู้ที่บุกรุกเข้ามาด้วยกระสุนนัดแรก
1301 sure looks cool, but I wouldn’t bet my life on it. M4 has no equal in the shotgun realm.
I've had to bet my life on the M4, and I'll still take the 1301 any day of the week.
@@stevewhite7649 Who are you talking too??
But Keanu Reeves didnt use one. 0/10.
Lol a lot of boomers are very upset at this video.
no where near as durable as a M4 end of story, regardless of any other intangibles, hence why its not in combat use
But it's not a Benelli.............
NOPE! cant compete sorry! maybe if it was mag fed
only if you're poor
Beretta customer service sucks. Which means Benelli too. I won’t buy another Italian anything.
Bro, you should’ve bought a Benelli M4 🤙🏻 I like how you said for the price. But you have to ask yourself what is your life worth?
Obviously you haven't run a Remington Versa Max Competition Tactical.
No but still nice home defense
1301’s the poor man Benelli
I am lucky enough to have both! m4 in LE/Mil and 1301 Langdon!
Both are just amazing fighting shotguns!
However, I find the m4 to be a bit stouter and a bit more confidence inspiring.
Don't believe me? Rack the bolt on both and you will hear the weak and tinny sound of the Beretta. On the other hand, the m4 has some heavy steel moving and slamming home.
Both are just outstanding and utterly reliable.
1301 is a fighter jet and the m4 is a tank.
Take your pick or get both! I did!
The Benelli, an oil baron's 1301. Lol
I actually think I perfer it. The only thing is the m4 is a little more quality with features and it has an iconic vibe. This one seems to be earning its place.
As I may have said, I have both. The m4 LE/Mil and the 1301 LTT. I would fight with either and be well-armed. Being lucky enough to have both give me a choice. When all is said and done, they are both just shotgun shell launchers? Nothing more. Nothing less. With that said, I enjoy both of them a lot.
So what does that make the mossberg 940 then?
