I have a f150 Tremor. Have had it almost a year. Its an ubelievable truck in terms of power and performance. The interior is beautiful and i think its the sharpest looking half ton pick up truck on the road
couldnt agree more. just picked one up last week.
Love my 2023 2.7 aswell just awesome truck
Same here. Loving my ‘24
I’m a GM guy but man that 5.3 is gutless. It’s reliable and gets the job done but I’d go with a 6.2 if I had the option.
Great honest review
Was the Tremor in Sport Mode? Makes all the diffrence to spool up the Turbos.
My rebel’s twin! I have two tone hydro blue and midnight edition. 2023 absolutely love it. I ordered it custom how I wanted. Basically loaded. I skipped the sunroof and GT because I wanted the rotary shift more than center seats. I’d consider a new trail boss. Would never own a ford.
Great information on all the trucks, saw both videos and enjoyed them both very good information. Rather go with RAM V8 durability, turbos make me nervous high mileage.
Why are they supposedly more reliable on diesel engines?
You're slowly becoming a Ford man. lol
I was looking at the Tremor and RAM... RAM came out far cheaper... they came down on MSRP much longer than FORD would. I have had Fords and other RAM's. All are nice. I would never own a Chevy. All my buddies with them have had issues.
Too bad the Trail Boss only had the 5.3, the 6.2 would've put up a much better fight. Can't verify it but I've heard several people say the 6.2 actually averages better fuel economy at elevation than the 5.3.
I’ve also heard the same about those results between fuel economy comparison for those two engines
5.3 IS STILL A GREAT OVERALL ENGINE. ESPECIALLY BEFORE AFM. STATE PATROL USES 5.3 TAHOES THAT GET THE JOB DONE!!!
@@Wicked_RotF30 the 5.3L is one of the best engines out there (pre AFM)
I've own a 2016 4.3L Silverado, 2018 F150 3.5L, a 2019 Silverado 5.3L a 2019 Ram 3.6L and a 2021 Silverado 6.2L and the 6.2L Get the best highway miles out of all of the trucks I've owned. But you have to run 93. Cause if your run 87 it gets the worst mileage out of all the truck I've owned.
I ran the 2023 6.2 at about 6,800 feet. In the highway it gets a sweet 20-23 mpg at 74-80 mph. But it gets 10 mpg all day every day on the city at 6,800 feet and 11-14 city at close to sea level.
Throw the Ford drivetrain in the Rebel and I’m in! I don’t need anything from the Chevy even though I am really considering their new 3500. The golden orange accents on the Ford are definitely not my flavor lol. As you know I have the same drivetrain in a very light F-150 xl model for my work truck and my impromptu 0-60 here, way closer to sea level, is mid 6 seconds with all my equipment in it😮
U should have got the 402A package for the tremor that's what I got nd it is miles better
How can mpg test be accurate when you floor it
Its not max MPG its all comparable to each other.
💪💪💪........TREMOR.......
Why are these times so slow?
I’d take the Rebel because sunk cost fallacy says I have to. Do an off-road suv comparison next. Except Chevy wouldn’t have a dog in that fight since they screwed up their opportunity with the Blazer.
I like the Ford Tremor
WITH THE 5.0
Weird how the Ford has the most horsepower but had the lowest trap speed at the 1/8th mile. Probably from the traction control intervening.
Cool test. Trail Boss with the 3.0 would be my choice. Be similar performance to the one you had but probably 6-8 more mpg.
That doesn't explain the 0-60 time...
@@johnpeters9793 what do you mean?
@matthewanderson9912
If the trap speed was hampered by TC @ 64MPH, it should of held it back to 60MPH....It didn't.
@@johnpeters9793 oh. I would say it did hold it back though. I know he didn’t do a “boosted” launch but his elevation won’t affect the ecoboost nearly as much as the NA engines and he was marginally quicker to 60.
Anyways it doesn’t truly matter. It’s capable of more but what JB is doing is accurately simulating merging into traffic from a stop or nearly a stop.
@matthewanderson9912
Something just seems off..
7/10 of a second faster to 60 and then basically falling on its face to 64 just doesn't make sense...
What I'm questioning is if the TC held the EB back through the 1/8, it SHOULD of held it back off the line to 60.
Ram Rebel all day!
How can you base the true fuel economy by relying on the dash readout, very few are accurate. Also, by driving 12 miles, thats a joke!
I LIKE ALL BRANDS, BUT THE CHEVY DESIGN IS FUGLY.
Ha Ha I have the 5.3 it's more reliable than all 3 put together. I'm not biased by the way lol
Tremor all day😊
ID RATHER HAVE THE 5.0
Air suspension in the rebel is a fail
GM should be ashamed of themselves for having such a small fuel tank. No excuse. It would probably keep me from buying the Chevrolet
Chevy wins all day
Lol...put down the crack pipe.
