Human concept of ‘day’ is 24hrs a day n night. It depends on rising n setting of the sun, as we know it. Surely Allah creation is not dependent on the rising n setting of the sun. So ‘ayyam’ may refer to ‘periods’ n not our earthly concept of ‘days’. Allah knows best.

Confused me more rather than clarifying!
In the regards to the creation of the heaven and earth it is say it took 6 days (يوم ) day, my Allah sent Quran in Arabic so everything must translate from the perspective of the language of Arabic but from none.
What is not people understanding that Allah may not necessarily saying Allah created the universe we see in 6 days, but it can the heaven and others Allah created gradually. So we only can observe our own galaxy and few thousands in distance but however can we look over the first sky we can see? No so there are 6 more like it, Allah may created those 7 layers in 6 days and we in this universe came to existence on our own different span of time.
We should not be arrogant and think Allah only created us but no one else besides us even in our own universe.

@@swifty2550 Allah created 7 heavens in 6 days not the earth. So what these sheikhs are trying to explain doesn't make sense. They are trying to say Allah created our universe in 6 days which isnt what Allah necessarily meant when Allah said we created 7 heaven in 6 days. What I believe that Allah created 7 heaven in 6 days but our own universe came into life gradually not in 6 days. Because what we can see in the universe besides our own galaxy are few thousands more here and there but we cannot see through the actual sky that doomed us around, so there are 6 more like those and Allah created 7 of them in 6 days.

so how exactly is the earth created in just the timespan of 6 days?
Allah uses the word "Ayya'um" to refer to the word "Day" in the Qur'an, the word comes from the root word "Ya'um" which can also mean "Periods of Time", and now that Today, because of scientific knowledge and information, we know that there are complex concepts such as "Time Dilation", a Period of time doesn't necessarily mean a Earthly day ( 24hrs ) (According to Jewish text - Genesis 1 - The Sun and The Moon was created later in the 6 day period ) it can mean anything from a million years, or just a fraction of a second, but whatever it is, Allah hu A'alam - Indeed, he is the Best of the Creators, The Most Wise.
6 AYAUM means 6 periods which indicate a tiny bit of time to a million years of time could whatever be happened.
يوم means day, when we need to explain anything in the Quran and hadith we should not use examples from any other language but the language Allah choose to send the Quran in which is Arabic.

The current world was made through hard work of engineers with the help of current {electric} technology.

When the Al-Qur'ăn mentions numbers please refer to the Surah number, 6 day means surah 6. 7th day means 7th surah.
Division of large value mentioned in the Al-Qur'ăn is required taking in account the ratio's corresponds to surah number.
Example 'they slept in the cave for 300 years or additional 9 years' (surah 9). For 300 is - 1 X 3 X 100.
Or 1 X 10 X 30, 1 X 2 X 10 X 15.
Multiplication is in ascending order.
The Al-Qur'ăn should reflect a divine intelligence works and not some cattle (Baqarah) method.

4 Tips to gain the love of ALLAH.
1. Repentance: “Indeed Allah loves those who are constantly repentant.” (Holy Qur’an 2:222)
Allah loves the repentant slave, who constantly turns back to Him, knowing He is the All-Forgiving, Most-Forgiving, the Acceptor of Repentance, the Pardoner. No matter how often one repeats a sin, and no matter how grave the sin is, one should constantly turn back to Allah.
Abu Hurayrah narrated that he heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying, “If somebody commits a sin and then says, ‘O my Lord! I have sinned, please forgive me!’ and his Lord says, ‘My slave has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for it, I therefore have forgiven my slave (his sins).’ Then he remains without committing any sin for a while and then again commits another sin and says, ‘O my Lord, I have committed another sin, please forgive me,’ and Allah says, ‘My slave has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for it, I therefore have forgiven my slave (his sin).’ Then he remains without Committing any another sin for a while and then commits another sin (for the third time) and says, ‘O my Lord, I have committed another sin, please forgive me,’ and Allah says, ‘My slave has known that he has a Lord Who forgives sins and punishes for it, I therefore have forgiven My slave (his sin), he can do whatever he likes.’” (Bukhari)
One should follow up a bad deed with seeking forgiveness and doing good deeds, so that the bad deed is wiped out. One should not tire of repenting to Allah.
It was narrated by Anas that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “Every son of Adam commits sin, and the best of those who commit sin are those who repent.” (Ibn Majah)
2. Purification: “Indeed, Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves.” (Holy Qur’an 2:222)
Allah loves when a slave purifies himself from impurities, both major and minor. Being pure also includes being pure from shirk and sinfulness etc...
3. God-consciousness: “Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him].” (Holy Qur’an 09:04)
Often translated as God-consciousness or piety, taqwa is to protect oneself from the Hellfire by performing what has been commanded by Allah and abstaining from what has been prohibited.
4. Goodness and perfecting our good deeds: “And Allah loves the doers of good.” (Holy Qur’an 3:134) The complete verse reads, “Who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good.”

I don't remember anything about the creation taking six days in the Quran. The Bible gives a six day creation. I only remember the significance of Friday because it was the day Adam( humankind) was designed and elected to become a vicergent for Earth. But if one thinks about this scientifically or takes in account of the story this would mean everything was already created the heavens were divided and clearly the universe was into existence. There are some who forget that the universe is a vast amount of space that contains amazing movement, stars, comets, meteors, asteroid, it's constant Energy. Our concept of time has to be understood so humans can grasp an atom of understanding of how the sun functions to power the life on this planet. We think the universe is 13.8 billions years old that's merely an approximation in order for us to comprehend how ancient the heavens are. It's easier for us to understand that the Earth rotates around the sun for a year, seven days in a week, 30 days in a month and so forth. But if the universe is 13.8 billion years old and we have fossils of gigantic beasts that once dwelled here some scientist says 200 million years ago this would mean the Earth is older than 6000 years. It would also mean that the Earth was transformed to accommodate Adam and his descendants. I don't think any day is more important than the creation of Adam which is Friday. However, there have been millions if not billions of days throughout time before Adam because The Creator is above and beyond the concept of time. He gifted Adam with the knowledge to understand most things on this planet and within our galaxy. But time itself belongs to the Creator and the Creator is not us.
