I hope Marvel animation brings back the Avengers earth's mightiest heroes show for more seasons much like how they are bringing back the 90s X-Men animated show

It's sad and all but if they would've gone through, i don't think it would've worked. The style of Archer is just sort of a one time thing that can't be exactly redone.
Right, the style is kinda synonymous with Archer and I can’t see it working for a different series.
Archer really isn't unique at all though. It's good but the reason WHY it's good is that it's literally just the traditional formula that spy/detective series follow where you have a mostly static set of characters that you put into different situations and locations. And it wasn't even the first show of it's style. Even before Archer, the creators did a show called Frisky Dingo that was basically the same thing but for superheroes. It could've definitely been done and considering how talented of a writer Donald Glover is (writing many episodes of 30 Rock and Atlanta) it probably would've been pretty successful.

I have a conspiracy theory that this series/the team that would've animated it got working on the Hit-Monkey series on Hulu sinces he's Deadpool adjacent in the comics as well as its artstyle fitting Archer on FX.
That makes sense. People keep mentioning how the hit monkey guys should make the deadpool series.
Would've been cool. I think Marvel should do more animated series and movies instead of lack luster and downgrade series that have MCU synergy into them.
I’ve just realized that marvel animation doesn’t make much series nowadays. Well, they kinda still do but most of it are kid shows.

I wish this had happened. I am kind of sick of Ryan Reynalds being the only version of this character in the zeitgeist. Donald Glover certainly would have added a unique angle

Sounds very similar to the Harley Quinn tv series 😂 with its mature rating and fourth wall breaking
The fact that they went out of their way to reference the series cancellation, its pretty evident the Harley Quinn series wanted to be a sorta spiritual successor.
I wish Marvel Studios made a Deadpool Cartoon with today's animation,
it would have been Marvel's version of Harley Quinn.
With marvel studios, I doubt they would make anything as adult as that.

I remember being in awe at the footage and then was shocked they didn’t go for titmouse lol. I suppose they wanted to go for a style that was cheaper. Or maybe the other style reflected the series better.

It's made was for kids, but also just like parodies and makes fun of the marvel universe in general. I haven't watched it for awhile but it is one of those so bad and stupid it's good show (imo) 🤣

Donald Glover has done a lot of things and the only thing he isn’t even decent at is writing. I still wish we saw this show, but knowing the story would have been mid at best makes me feel a bit better about this cancellation
If a billion dollar movie is on the horizon one would a assume more Deadpool is on the way but you know Disney&marvel🤦🏾♂️
Not sure what happened. They cancelled the series because they didn’t like Glovers vision but they decided to not rework the series in any way.
@@WarpingFist I think it somehow tuned into hulus hit monkey animated show. But yeah this makes no sense to scrap it. Deadpool’s brand has been huge the last 5 years.

Wasn't the CEO of marvel at the time racist and sexist? If thus is so it may have had a hand in the reason why it was cancelled.
People always use racism or religion as an excuse for a reason of cancellation or change in something. Can't it just be maybe they had something else they were doing or another project they had more passion for? Or maybe they did like Taylor Swifts music and they were refusing to change anything in the scripts. Something else could be the issue. Expand your brains people, or better yet, forget why and figure out another way to get Deadpool Animated Series out there.

Funny how Glover tries go insinuate racism got his pitch cancelled and then refuses to pay the black woman in charge of modelling his most iconic album cover, but paid the white woman for creating the headdress.
