Dude, you always answer people’s questions! You’re god sent!
I try my best lol.
When do we get to pick our major? Is it when we submit the supplemental documents to colleges after being selected as a finalist?
Hey do you know if the extra supplements colleges ask for after you’re selected as a finalist the same as the supplements regular students write. Or are they altered/reduced?
I am pretty sure they are the same. I remember talking with a friend who applied through the common app (two years ago), and it sounded like we wrote the same amount of essays. I'm pretty sure they have to make the supplements the same so that they can compare candidates!
How did you go about your student contribution in the financial aid?
I applied and received outside scholarships. I recommend that you try the same, especially for local scholarships because they are typically not that competitive.
@@AlexAlvaradoB Thanks!!
What are you majoring ?
I’m planning to major in Computer Science!
did you get any of the quest for excellence awards? and do you think being a college prep scholar gives you an advantage on the national college match?
I did not receive any 😪 but it all worked out in the end I guess 😅. And I do think it gives you an advantage. I can’t remember the exact statistic but I think it’s over 50 percent of prep scholars become National match finalists. So it’s definitely a great indication
i'm international student, can i have apply QuestBridge???
For the College Prep Scholars Program, you must be a U.S Citizen/Permanent Resident (living abroad counts). For the National Match Program, you do not need to be a citizen/resident, but you must attend a U.S high school.
@@AlexAlvaradoB bro can you offer me other scholarships i must go to Stanford with full ride
@@bilegtni5202 Honestly, I don't know of any other scholarships (feel free to do some research). One thing you could try is to apply directly to Stanford. They offer very good financial aid, and if your income is low enough they may pay all of your tuition and board.
@@AlexAlvaradoB my parents income is highly 30k dollar they don't tell me exactly
