4:16 finally someone know to tape the bar where stem sits bruh I've watched alot doing paint job skipping this part it's triggers me HAHAHAHA
That, the inside of the stem, bottom bracket shell and where the seat post goes. People just paint away but when it comes to assembly, nothing fits right and even if they do, stuff keeps shifting as you ride 😂😂

I did one a few months ago. But it was a blue fade to raw. Wasn't a complete raw frame
That was an in depth resto, fine work indeed. Was glad to see the chain replaced since the other was really rusted Nd on backwards. Your attention to detail is great! Do you clear coat at all or over stuff like the splatter? When you come across these, do you sell them or keep as a personal bike? Top shelf work man.

For splatter, depends on the end finish. Like these black parts were to remain matt black so I didn't clear over them. But if the finish was gloss I would have cleared them.
Some of these are bikes I come across people looking to let them go so I buy them, clean them up for Content then sell. But a larger percentage belong to clients who want to refresh their rides.

Yep. Especially if you can't find a top load stem, it helps give you that added bit of height
