The Face Pencil has been highly anticipated by this fangirl and I'm so excited to share my 1st impression with you guys! I am nowhere near as talented as Bobbi Brown, but The Face Pencil really delivers, even with these unskilled hands. I'm sure you're going to want to get your hands on these asap!

I just stumbled upon Jones Road and bought the Miracle Balm in Dusty Rose. Like you, I'm learning how to use it. That shade might be a little light for me, but with summer coming, I can use it on my shoulders for a little sheen. Also I need to only use it on the tops of my cheeks, not all over. Thank you for sharing this video - the pencil looks great on you. That's what I want to try next, so I was looking at what you thought of the product and colors. It looks great on you! On a side note, your hair is gorgeous! I wish I looked like you when I'm two days away from going to the salon! ; ) Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much for watching Denise, I hope I was helpful. The Miracle Balm is definitely a learning curve and I think best for dry skin types, however the pencils are fantastic! I'm definitely going to get more colors for summer. They work great under and on top of foundation as well. They are a special product! I am considerably older than you and my face has always had lots of hyperpigmentationâŠJust ordered the 9 pencil and a whole slew of stuffâŠwill probably have to add more colors but I was comforted to see that Iâm probably in the 9 10 11 range not 3, 4, and 5âŠâŠâŠI want to tell you about this AMAZING thing I did. I had IPL $350.00 it took away ALL THE PIGMENTATIONâŠâŠthere is the ipl (intense light therapy) and also the v beam. The dr. Decides which is best. Itâs a miracle.
Sally I think you're really going to love the face pencils! I know that being a fair girl myself I was surprised that 10 and 11 were my shades but lo and behold! I've been really wanting to get the IPL but I also love being able to try products to see if they cover my hyperpigmentation because I know that most people can't afford the service. I do think at some point I'll do the IPL and film it for you guys, then we all win đThank you so much for watching and commenting Sally đ
At the beginning, after you applied the Miracle Balm, there was a big difference in your face. Just the chin need to be less red. My opinion - why not just use a heavy coverage foundation. It seems thatâs what your skin needs. Thereâs just too much to cover up with the pencils. Some good masks might help with things.

Im slightly less mature but also have splotchy skin due to hyperpigmentation and I am STRUGGLING not to buy the Miracle Balm as well because I too am a huge fan girl of Bobbi. I might order it anyway and see if I can make it work but Im definitely going to try the face sticks after seeing your review . Thanks!!
I hope you love the face sticks as much as I do! As for the Miracle Balm, Iâve found, through my friends, that it works best if you have dry skin. Im still mostly ânormalâ so it hasnât been a go to for me unfortunately. Thank you so much for watching! đ
@@JScottBeauty My skin goes up and down between dry combo and oily but I'll definitely wait until ALL of my products have really had a chance to sink in before I apply this to my face. I can see it being nice in winter...time will tell!
You might want one shade even lighter for the eye area and for mixing with what you already have

There are scads of videos on the miracle balm but I am having trouble finding a serious and truly informative one.
Hi Ruby, from my experience I find that the miracle balm is best suited for dry and mature skin. It doesnât play well with foundation and color payoff is minimal. Itâs great if your an outdoorsy person because it does give nice protection from windburn, not sun protection though. Itâs great if youâre a makeup minimalist and just want a little glow and slight tint to perk up your skin. Hope this helps đ
11 is much better, the 10 would be good for the outside of the face. It seems more yellow

Bobbi Brown the makeup artist sold her product line and name to Estee Lauder Corporation a long time ago. She may still have some contractual agreement for creative oversight, but I doubt she actually is still involved in regular attendance or daily operations at Bobbi Brown the Company. This poster/presenter talks about Bobbi Brown as if she personally knows her.
Hi Cathy, you are correct, Bobbi Brown did sell her namesake company a few years ago and I continue to be a fan and use products from her old line. When she launched her new brand, Jones Road, I was intrigued and started purchasing products from each launch, which have proved to be innovative items in the beauty space. I do not personally know Bobbi Brown but I have been following her career and purchasing her products for over 20 years, so I am definitely a fan đ Thank you for watching đ
I havent been happy with any of her products. So disappointing
I have definitely found longevity to be an issue with a lot of them and the miracle balm just isnât right for my skin type. I think the face pencils, if you get the right shade, are the best items in the line. Thanks so much for watching and commenting đ
