It is out of stock at that vendor. Since they just changed the price, the search engines keep indexing it. They will put the price back when they have one to sell. If you foolishly try to buy one, they may just buy it from another vendor and have it shipped to you. Amazon should change their rules so vendors aren't tempted to use this technique.
I just watched a video review on amazon about this allowing any finger to open the safe after a factory reset to remove all fingerprints from the system...not that that really matters when you can just pop it open like this. It is truly amazing just how many people don't understand just how bad some of these supposedly "secure" items are.

Considering little kids like to pick up things and shove it into stuff, this is extremely dangerous oversight and should be put off the market immediately.
If it meets the letter of the laws governing these products there's nothing that can be done about it. And I'd be shocked if the people writing those laws knew enough about security to stipulate that gun safes need to be protected against this sort of attack. It's also the perfect gun safe to buy if you're not in a situation where you actually *need* the security of a proper gun safe but need to satisfy a regulation that stipulates you store your piece within one. I would be such a buyer if I had that law hanging over me; I live alone and live so rural that we don't get burglars so I have no need for an actual gun safe.
@@TestECull again they shouldn't label it as a safe, if its not safe. No pun intended. A gun should be stored properly, whether it is in a safe or has a lock when not in use.

@LockPickingLawyer, big fan here! I've learned all about the vulnerabilities of locks and products I've owned for years, without ever realizing just how pointless some of them are/were. Suffice it to say, you've already saved me a bunch of money, based on at least two products that have either been returned (Brinks Disc Lock that I learned could easily be twisted open, and a Harbor Freight / Union "Gun Safe" that someone else showed no less than eight vulnerabilities in existence, as well as the fact that it had been recalled. It's still in the box, but going back to Harbor Freight in the morning. It looks very suspiciously like a version of this gun safe you reviewed here) or will be soon. I just enjoyed watching your homemade gun lock solution using the Abus padlock and a drill bit but, like many others who have commented on your various gun safe reviews, I'd be very interested in knowing whether there is a particular gun safe that you DO find to be competent in protecting firearms from easy access by kids/unauthorized guests? I've learned from you that one of the most effective "fixes" for many locks is to replace the core with more resilient cores, and that most gun safes seem to be plagued with cheap bypass cores. That said, is there a gun safe you would suggest as a good starting point for the best safety? I am prepared to add additional shields to vulnerable buttons/mechanisms (have welder, will travel, lol!) and to replace vulnerable cores, but would love to start with a design that you would put a "conditional" stamp of approval on. I believe that I speak for a great many of your fans when I say we'd definitely appreciate your addressing this question if you haven't already and, if you have, would you please direct me to that video? Searching your channel didn't bring me the answers I hoped to find. Keep the great and entertaining reviews coming, and "thanks" in advance!!! ;-)

So tell me how you really feel about this gun safe. Jeez, this is less security than just putting the gun on a higher shelf. At least then you have to go get a chair.
Edward Bashaw probably would have had to have seen this video or had the same safe to know about this exploit, i dont think it putting it on a high shelf would be a better idea, maybe if you placed it on a high shelf while its inside this safe though
@nova nova LPL's usual criteria for an effective gun safe is something that can keep a curious adolescent out. Poking around with a knife or similar thin object is probably the first thing they'd try.
silentdude56k thank you for explaining, i wasnt aware
Let's be honest it is still better than a shelf because it may be easy to open you have to figure out the design flaw when the door is closed and it's not obvious
Children are very innovative when it comes to using adults guns.
"so this is our new safe, it should be pretty hard to open, since it's a safe and all"
Lockipickinglawyer: *does a poke"
Well it's barely a metal box. Look at the thickness of the door. I bet you could jam a flat screwdriver in it to force it open.
"This is the LockPickingLawyer and what I have for you today will end this entire company's career."
Master Lock: Finally! A worthy opponent! Our battle will be legendary.
Lol
And short....
To be fair, Harry *did* say he was extemely disappointed in this product because Yuema does some good things.
I can only recall twice that Harry said nice things about a Master lock. One was a beautiful piece of craftsmanship from the 30s and the other was his comments about how the cores in the Master LOTO locks with the plastic bodies were really good cores and why didn't Master use them anywhere else?
And another lock that opens itself when it sees LPL coming.
Everyone: Making Master Lock jokes.
Chinese Gun Safe: Hold my tea.
I appreciate your time and evaluations on all these products. It is just now I feel as if I should comment. I've watched many of your videos. You've given me very innovated thoughts as to how I should protect my home and keepsakes.
I really hope you enjoy making your videos as much as I enjoy every the very delicious excitement as to what puzzling lock you'll exploit next! Hope you see this!
Yuema: How to make our product better
Man 1: combination and key.
Woman: fingerprint scanner:
Bob: A simple guard rail so that they can't bypass the lock.
Yuema: Bob your fired.
Poor Bob, no one ever takes him seriously.
@@riotson That's because man 1 is Carl and woman is Karen.
It's China. Bob is sent for vocational training that totally isn't a concentration camp.
If anything you can smack the intruder in the face with it for protection.
I bet it would pop open if u did smack someone with it lmao
BATMAN I wouldn’t doubt it.
Lock picking lawyer is about to end this whole company’s career literally
Valuable service you provide my friend, keep up the great content!
I'd like to see a video of you picking up a lock and how you go about analyzing its flaws like this and making the discovery. Your content is amazing and very informative of what you should look to use, thanks LockPickingLawyer!
TR P I think what he means is a video where he hasn’t analyzed it before hand and takes you through the process in which LPL finds the design flaws in real time
@@PsychotikTaco that would be interesting to me, picking a lock is a lot less interesting than how to look at a problem!
Locking that safe with Scotch Tape would make it better!
Literally... lol
A thin piece of metal would still open it just as fast though, you need some belts.
@Deon Denis I don't know if you're joking or not but i feel obligated to do this. *duct
@Deon Denis Oh... Huh. Yeah, after looking it up there there is a brand of duct tape called "Duck tape". Guess i was wrong, sorry.
@@mazgazine1 Scotch tape would be a good tamper seal
When I was alive, my gun was locked in that very safe.
😂😮😳😂💀
This thing must have a motion sensor built in so it automatically pops open when it senses a human nearby.
I love the straight forward information you give. Thx!
a scary lock video in Halloween. perfect indeed.
When my son was about 5 years old I taught him how to slim jim our ‘84 (ish) Renault Alliance (I am ashamed to say that I bought a Renault Alliance.....but it was the “Car and Driver” car of the year). I learned some slim jim skills from a tow truck driver. With this Renault you just slid the instrument straight down about an inch and a half from the lock...door unlocked effortlessly..... just like this safe. Always fun when he entertained visitors with his skills.
thank you for not dragging the video out with a bunch of nonsense. quick and straight to the point :)
Congratulations on ONE MILLION subscribers!
All the best to you and yours!
i clicked on this video faster than LPL can lockpick anything
little did you know...
He picked the safe in 2 seconds lol
Press x to doubt
Bullshit
@@SwiffyG faster than that
you get a + from me. No clicbait, no bullshit. Just a straight forward "this is whats up". We need more of this in todays world where so many seem to be so full of shit.
Absolutely loved this ! Your quickly becoming one of my favorite sites! This safe should be taken off the market because this could become dangerous to own! Thanks
When you demonstrated the plate to press I was hoping that there as at least a step to navigate around. But nope. This is truly ridiculous.
Finally a gun safe i can open in an emergency in under 3sec. Hurray
-Hands up!
-Hold on for a second, let me get this toothpick in my gun safe, will be right back!
Here's the thing: We don't even know how unsafe the lock is. So far, we only know that the whole product is crap.
I can just imagine the LockPickingLawyer springs the lock without even looking at it, and walks away with his back to the lock in slow motion as it opens. Gangsta hip hop playing in background...
Just looked this thing up on Amazon. It costs $1000! LMAO
O.O
It's $76. The one listed for $1000 has to be a mistake
I gave a thumbs up to that video, lpl's video, and to the person who got it open by pounding the side of the safe to kick the latch open.
You sir, are incredible. I've watched several of your videos that were suggested to me. Of course I subscribed immediately. Now it's time for me to go to your home page and watch them all. Not to know how to pick, but to know what products to stay away from, and hopefully which ones you recommend based on their strength. Thank you sir.
Not all heroes wear capes. Superb simplicity 👌🏻
Considering little kids like to pick up things and shove it into stuff, this is extremely dangerous oversight and should be put off the market immediately.
@@soundspark I don't know that cpsc has jurisdiction on this, it's not directly dangerous. But definitely worth a try!
@@sdfsdf2205 If it meets the legal requirements to be called a gun safe then it is a gun safe. The law doesn't necessarily require it to be a *good* gun safe.
It took me longer to read the title and click on the video then it did to bypass the safe.
Good spot LPL. 👌
Let's hope that they take note and implement changes in future releases.
Keep the great and entertaining reviews coming, and "thanks" in advance!!! ;-)
1.52 you can clearly see the LPL does everything for more youtube money 😂
Love your vids and that there is no unneeded placeholder stuff for more ads
You always sound so enthusiastic when tearing a product to absolute shreds.
People always say that security through obscurity is no security at all, but considering what passes for legitimate security devices, I have to say that a random cardboard box in a closet is looking like more security than should be expected.
Brilliant! And I would argue that skill is involved as you knew what was the weak area and what to do to exploit same, I wouldn’t have!!!
Dangerous is an understatement.
The problem here was a tyop in the spec. It said g unsafe instead of gun safe.
Yes, a tyop.

;)
i wouldn't even trust that safe to store a piece of paper that reads "Thanks for opening my safe".
Thank you so much for your work. Something like this could lead to a tragedy
My father always had the model of gun safe that was "It goes from my holster to under my pillow, and if anything wakes me up at night the gun won't be the concern."
Wow, I'd hate to live in a society where you feel that unsafe that you sleep with a gun under the pillow!
@@Chris-hx3om We don't. Because we're a free enough society that we can own guns that go under our pillows.
@@AnonYmous-mc5zx So why do you feel the need to sleep with a gun under the pillow? (Just for your information, most people in the world don't even feel the need to own a gun at all.)
@@Chris-hx3om Irrelevant. I do so because I can, not because I need to.
@@AnonYmous-mc5zx So how would you feel about sleeping without a gun close at hand? (or even owning a gun at all?)
Yesterday's tweet had me hyped 😁
Mr. LPL, You're savage when it comes to locks
Congrats on 1,000,000 sub's Harry!
WOW! it actually takes longer to pick a MASTER Lock than this "safe"! (one second longer, but still longer)
We’re gradually getting closer to a lock that simply pops open when he looks at it “This is the lock picking lawy... annnnd it’s open”
Lockpickinglawyer: So what we have today is a Yuem...
Yuema: *Oh shit*
Dam I would love to get the company’s reaction lol thank you for showing this.
Turned on captions and got "This is the wop pickin lawyer."
Ice Ice Booey that’s wasist! Lol
Ayyyy I'm fuckin' lock pickin' ova heah
Someone has been spending too much time with Deviant, LPL no longer wants to pick locks he just wants to bypass them.
Congratulations on your 1M subscriber milestone!
The biggest safety features on locks recently seems to be how well known its particular exploit is.
It literally takes longer to say "Gun safe" or "Yuema" than it takes to break into the safe.
Holy crud you're right, I said yuema as he inserted the pick and as I finished he was done
It looks like you could compromise that safe with a simple butter knife.
Probably could give it the NES cartridge treatment.
Congrats on a million!
Inexcusable ,my favorite video are the ones where you expose this trash ,until consumers see how insanely useless these are and stop buying them lock makers will continue selling this garbage to them. Great review brother!
Thanks for the public service announcement.
Criminal negligence, in my view.
Whoa. This should get national attention for an immediate recall.
Thank you youtube for the valuble information.
