This was the scene i liked because it really brought out the true meaning of BFX's teacher's advice and warning. Her teacher warned her to be vigilent of the people around her and that was what bought the flashback of what her teacher warned her. Lang Hua is just one of those typical characater in a manhua or novel that will never change as the story progress.
Before this and Even now... Lang Hua... disappoint me a lot... Knowing Feng Xi's character, First thing she do it trust other people's words instead of thinking (from Guyi? situation that guy who was against Feng Xi) then now this... even the other disciple are more wise than her... As much as I know that she is grieving, I am just sad that she is a character with no logic. She is innocent and I want to like her but she is too... to think she was spoken highly from Feng Xi's POV and she (for now) almost become the leader of the sect.
LH has always been impulsive, immature and somewhat envious of BFX. BFX praised her martial art not her leadership qualities. She hoped Lang Hua will grow in to a leader with time. Not that she was a leader material already. Being the daughter of the previous sect leader many would accept her more easily.
She never been jealous of bai fengxi.. she didn’t even know her real identity. She just soo young and immature..Sacred Jade moon will save her and lanxi will regained his inner forces.
Is that really Langhua's character in the novel?????? I mean come on, she's with BFXin the sect for a long time. Shouldn't Langhua know that BFX will not and can't kill shifu. BFX almost treated shifu like father..... Also BFX spoke highly of Langhua to b the nxt Sect Leader but she can't distinguish who will do wrong from right. I mean i get that she is still immature as what BFX said....but come on, she really bwlieved that BFX killed shifu and stabbed her!!!
I have only read some bits in the novel but it seems Lang Hua is worse in novel. Innocent is often polite adjective for ignorant, pampered stupid kid. Hua Chunran is called the most beautiful/ divine fairy in the empire. Princess Xiyun is famous and well respected by everyone for her talents and personality. Two of the most outstanding princes married/engaged with these two popular girls. And here Lang Hua only knew the young men that were her brother. She felt she was missing out. She too is pretty and a martial art expert princess, so she should be in the same rank as them.. She tries to beat Xiyun to show that Xiyun is not the only one deserving of that much fame and popularity and got in to war with her. After her defeat at hands of Princess Xiyun, Xiyun asks Lang Hua what she thought she would achieve, even if she won. Lang Hua replies she could have a pony/concubine like Feng Xi. Xiyun tells Lang Hua to pick one of the generals saying they are also best male samples from two states ( hers and Feng Xi's), and grants her a marriage with the one she shows interest in. 'Hoping she could settle down and could be protected.
