In the "10 Years of Mellow Gold" documentary, the bassist on this tour, Dave Gomez says,
_"Joey was great. We became quick friends and roommates on tour and playing with him was great. I've never played with a drummer since then as good as Joey. He made me a much better bass player."_

I enjoy reading music biographies and with the advent of CZcams and being able to witness and access a plethora of genuinely interesting archive footage, I occasionally add in the extra information, as much for my own enjoyment as well as anyone passing by the comments section. It helps that I'm a big fan of Beck who has a healthy back catalogue of lesser played tunes to delve into.
I was also lucky enough to see Beck's first concert in London, England at the Astoria in 1994, 26 flipping years ago! Little did I know I'd still be enamored with that gig and keep digging up shows from that period.

Once upon a time in the early 90's I was in a Street Music confrontation with Mr. Beck Hanson, Olympia Wa, He and Kalvin were working on One Foot In The Grave. And I was just a kid playing on the Corner of Washington and forth... One thing led to another and folks started Gathering by the old Act 3 cinemas ( was 1 buck to catch a flick in them days ) to watch to hear to enjoy, we Both played Harp and mad 6 sting. unplugged Pure Raw REAL!!! He won the corner. But He also yelled " Fuck you man!!! I love you and this God damn City( inaudible woops) " We pointed at each other and went on... I did not know of him or even who he was.... After I got back to the Joint I was living in at the time, My friend said I should watch the MTV countdown cuz there is this guy you would love!!!........ It was HIM doing Loser!!! lol Never Met BECK but we had a moment anyways...

I saw him during this tour I think. There was a band called doo rag opening for him in Philly at the trocadero. Small crowd, neck waked around with a big tray full of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches during the opening act

I'm trying to figure out the chorus lyrics for Loser. Assume the song was still a work in progress when this show was filmed..
if this is december 94 then Loser had already been out for over a year. most people who showed up to his shows around this time were only there for Loser so Beck would actually fuck with the lyrics a bunch to confuse people
