Takayu Onsen in Fukushima is one of my most favorite hot spring resorts in Japan. It is located at the foot of Mt. Azuma, a huge active volcano, and is characterized by its highly concentrated sulfur hot springs. There used to be an excellent ski resort there as well, but unfortunately it has gone out of business now.
white snow gently falling while the cute milky blue waters steam and meander! what a truly lovely, curative respite and how extra special fun the private bathing pools.. just so lovely.. and the entire Hotel is so gracious, elegant and soothing..
What an incredible place to stay 😍 It was already beautiful and then at night even more magical too 🤩 The bath like a river was stunning as was the special private bath too. This place was already amazing but the snow highlighted that magic and when night fell, it's exquisite beauty and magic was even more apparent. I feel incredibly relaxed by just watching this ❤ Absolutely beautiful place and a wonderful video, thank you 😊

I was scrolling through videos putt up for later,and i found this..I didn't had the time to watch it at that time due too work overload,it was a pleasant surprise.Great video as always, the combination of open bath while snowing was majestic ❤
What an interesting hotel. I love the natural decorative touches of rock and sand and such. The room is huge, and has so many extras. Taking your tour, I think this place is fabulous! So lucky to have gone. Wish I could have joined you lol

I forgot about this. This is so much nicer than when i used to go as a kid. We only went in the dark, so i had no idea how wonderful it is until i was an adult. Then we had to have a rare slect vigilance for us on matters of anything from food safety to balanced society
Thank you for providing another idea for a stop for my upcoming vacation to Japan. Been trying to pack in as many unique experiences as possible and this would definitely qualify as we don't have hot springs in my little corner of the USA.

もう30年以上前になりますが某有名化粧品メーカーの販売の仕事で福島各地に行きました。
その時一緒に仕事をし、お世話になった現地の美容部員の人たちと仕事の打ち上げで一緒に飲みに行ったのですが皆さん美容部員だけあってメークもばっちりで洗練された都会的な美人なんですがどの女性も福島訛りの強いイントネーションでその容姿とのギャップがなんとも言えず魅力的で今でも強く印象に残ってます。
福島美人の安達屋旅館の中居さんの女性を見ていたらふと若かりし日の福島の記憶が蘇ってきました。
とても素敵な旅館でした！お料理も素敵で何より温泉がめちゃくちゃいいです！！行きたいです〜❤

今年の10月紅葉の盛りの頃、予約ができたら行ってみたいと計画しています。野趣たっぷりの露天風呂とその泉質は抜群、そして和風旅館、どれも一級品ですね。
２０年前に泊まった事あります。
寒いときだったので、囲炉裏の前の料理は格別に美味しかったです。お酒もご飯も美味しかったご飯は足りなくておかわりして、
別料金だよと言われたけど、ご飯が美味いから構わないって、いつもの倍は食べた記憶があるね。
また、朝ご飯がまた美味しすぎて
朝から普段食べないのにおかわりして、当時の女中さんは嫌な顔すらしてなくて、喜んでご飯持って来てくれました。
最高な旅館だと思いました。
ただ、会計のとき、当時のフロントのおじさんが、めちゃ無愛想だった。
でも機会あったらまた行きたいですね。
