    Qd oled, once you see it, you want it! Great video KG I watch all of them. I already know all this info from your videos, and FOMO, and Vincent, and Caleb , and Brian's tech therapy. Sorry if I left anyone out, but if you want to know all tvs, these are the guys that know. I even watch Quantum once in a while. I watch everything KG does, one of the best and you don' t get lost in specs.

    I know you love QD-OLED, and I do too, but Samsung's Tizen and software support just isn't where it needs to be. I ended up going with the C3 with zero regrets. It's an absolutely stellar TV with amazing software support. Picture processing is fantastic once you set it up correctly, and based on my previous experience with the LG CX, it will gets years and years of updates and software support.

    On Samsung s90c there is Gaming Hub? And no Dolby Vision right? But does Dolby Vision makes a difference? Speakers i am getting is Samsung Q930c by tomorrow. Just confused for TV all we do is watch CZcams and others streaming plus Xbox Series X for FPS games. TV i am considering is 55” 2nd option 65” for Samsung Q90C, S90C, Sony X90L. Which ever is cheaper and longterm use. My room is small and has very few lights (dim dark room).

    I was last here on an old JVC CRT. All the others have long since switched to LCD, in those old days /720p, 1080i ready etc./. I replaced my CRT after it stopped working about 4 years ago with a 4K LG OLED.
    Unfortunately I've been looking at a screen ruined by burn-in for a year now, so I'm going to say goodbye to OLED forever, I'm really disillusioned with OLED, and plan to buy a 2024 LG mini LED model /already got used to the UI, web browser, etc./.

    Based on just looking in best buy, the x93l should be a serious contender in the midrange also, even though it's only mini-led. Comparing it side-by-side with the a80l, I couldn't see anything the a80l did better (ok, other than a few stars in a night sky being slightly brighter), but there were plenty of things the x93l did better, and I couldn't see any blooming. The x93l had that 3-dimensionality or "pop" that the a80l was really lacking. Unfortunately I couldn't compare the s90c side-by-side with the x93l.

    • @JPVee511
      @JPVee511 Před 8 měsíci +1

      It should be because the X93L is a great looking TV, but its pricepoint is in OLED territory. Perhaps not only OLED, but also XR level of processing territory, and Sony decided not to code XR Clear into this particular model.

    I am retired. Looking to buy a new 65" TV for my family room. The TV would be on for 8 -10 hours a day. WE would leave it on even if we are not watching it. My needs are simple. Live TV on cable as well as streaming on Netflix. No gaming or wide viewing angle is required. We watch a lot of CNN and Fox news and older TV shows. So I am concerned about purchasing an OLED TV. Should I be concerned? Looking for a good quality TV with great picture. Thinking Sony or Samsung. Recommendations please.

    • @TechWithKG
      @TechWithKG  Před 20 dny

      For your use case I would definitely suggest getting a LCD TV, whats your budget looking like for the 65"? I can help with some options after I get that. Generally though for LCDs yeah I would say Sony or LG for the top end I like the Samsung QN90C as a good bang for your buck pick the Sony Bravia 7 is also one I would consider when its on sale. Bravia 9 would be premium but the difference between the 9 and 7 is not night and day where most people wouldn't probably see the value paying the difference. TCL QM8 and Hisense U8N should definitely be considered too I will have a review of the U8N soon.

    Hey KG, the LG G3 has gotten significantly cheaper from launch but I chose the 65 inch S90C and as I dug in and did some research it appears to be the generation two panel, is this a huge loss by not choosing the LG G3 over the Samsung S90C.
