The first and only time I did it, the employee was a tough, cool Australian woman. As I pondered whether to do it or not, she called me a pussy, so I got strapped in and went for it!

Just so anyone knows~ they aren't actually passing out from fear. This thing goes around 300 feet at 100mph and you reach the top in seconds .-. many people can't handle that so they pass out.

One of the things that I find extremely peculiar is that while I'm a bit of a coaster junkie (though I have yet to go on a slingshot ride), don't flinch at the prospect of getting stuck with a needle or IV, and have twice survived something rhyming with "answer", the prospect of asking a young woman out on a date leaves me absolutely and completely petrified.
