The lead singer is AWESOME! She sounds a little like what Janis Joplin might sound like playing hard rock! The other girls' vocals are fantastic too. Really suits the music! Third time I've listened to this and 3 or 4 of their other tunes tonight! The beats, rhythm and vocals are coursing through my veins tonight with adrenaline flowing!

@@Patriot-up2td I'm a Runaways fan (and Neon Angels on the Road to Ruin is one of my favorite 70's rock songs), but that success as a band gets overshadowed by them being kids shoved around and promoted with the jailbait image.
Hearing this song, I right away got an Electric Eye vibe from the riff. While the singer doesn't have Halford's expertise and talent, the style has that Donnas garage band alt feel.
@@kencoleman5007 you know, you’re the second person to make the Donnas comparison. And I completely agree! I loved the Donnas raw and stripped down sound. Especially since they were a group of ladies who were from a later generation. They really captured that late 70’s/very early 80’s authentic rock sound.

Pure and simple, but hard to get just right...but think they nailed it. I was in a few bands back in my day (late 90's, early 2k's) as a drummer, so I know it doesnt just happen. These girls put in some work, props all around!

Nice to see also that the music I grew up with is still popular and sounding the same (in a good way) as it did 40 years ago! Don't think there are many areas of music (real music, not the pop crap)like Swing, Big Band, etc that ever had this length of popularity. Rock And Roll Is King!
@@briansauer6695 Ahh, I wish that were true, but rock truly is dead in the US now. Or at least among under 40's...who decide what type of music is king. Rock had a good long run, but if you listen to rock radio most all the songs will either be 15+ years old (most much older)..or done by bands who made their name before other genres took over.
@@jbm0866 Ya, with the infiltration of rap, pop and all kinds of other popular stuff with the kids, you have a good point. Myself though, I still think there is a lot of good, newer stuff that has come out each decade. Danko Jones, Monster Truck, The Lazy's, Airbourne, and a number of other bands are still cranking out good stuff. And that's all I guess I really care about. Rock On Dude!
