I would say yes. I got my normal size and the fit of the sweats / hoodie are baggy vs fitted which is what I prefer. If u prefer your sweats to be super loose then maybe size up but I think getting your normal size is fine!

I’m not 100% sure since I’ve never tried the petite one but I would maybe go up multiple sizes in the petite version and it should be fine!
