As a conservative I must say that I really enjoyed this interview. Fair, nice banter back and forth, points and counterpoints made respectfully. I'll even go so far to say if Mr Cuomo keeps this up, he will have gained the respect of many conservatives and Independents who in the past may have loathed him. You know why? In That insightful interview with Bill O’Reilly he mentioned how many Artists/ performers get hooked on drugs to escape their celebrity. Moments before I had watched a documentary about Marvin Gaye which said the same thing.

Great interview. I watched w my 90 year old dad, who let’s just say prefers O’Reilly, but he couldn’t argue about Chris’s response about the oil. O’Reilly was being broad as usual and I found him disrespectful calling him “Cuomo” over and over, I mean how juvenile can you be?

Advice for Cuomo: Let the guest finish his answer instead of interrupting because you don’t agree. You could question him immediately after with an argument. That way other future controversial guests will accept invitations. Otherwise the show will tilt to one side because other side guests won’t come.
I thought that Cuomo, for the most part, allowed uninterrupted answers; of course, O'Reilly is a guy that will get his response in, more forcefully than most, since he backs up every opinion with fact.

I enjoyed the interview Chris. One thing I always loved about Bill's show is that each night he would have a guest with an opposing opinion on and debate with him or her. Often it was a sitting politician like a senator or congressmen. We rarely get that anymore on networks like MSNBC, CNN and Fox. It's usually just an echo chamber.
I don't agree with your politics much but I like this format and the civil discussion. I hope you continue to bring people on with opposing views and have discussions like this one.

Good discussion here. I was never a fan of either but Bill O'Reilly's association with the recently passed radio legend Bernard McGuirk has endeared him a bit to me. It's also refreshing to hear Chris Cuomo sound as though his thoughts were his own and not act like some stenographer for CNN.

Wow - when it came time to be fair and say reasons why inflation is as high as it is and why oil prices are high, he calls them "excuses" and compares what it was like when Trump was last in office amidst lock-downs and a recession. So happy you are giving a voice to all opinions but O’Reilly was a horrible guest. It shows that even removed from Fox News he still cannot have a cordial and open minded discussion. Based on how long he’s been around I’d say he was the reason or a big reason why the journalism is so toxic there. I was interested in watching this but now it’s so cringe I wish I hadn’t.
