Basically in the voiceline he's saying what people think of as "Justice" is cruelty, (basically calling out humanity for accepting omnic racism being okay) but here, he's saying this war he's waging is justice for all of the omnics who have been oppressed and murdered. Its actually revenge but considering he is the hero of his own story (and probably to his subservient omnics) he would see it as justice. Just my take tho.

When he says « justice is cruel, it demands sacrifice » he means justice is cruel to him because he has to sacrifice for it. And even if he says that justice is cruel, it doesn't mean that cruelty is justice.

I think the origin story was pretty hype. It showed that he is not a one dimensional villain and has love for his people, but was hurt by humanity to a point where he radicalised his views.
We also know that he has an alliance of some degree with Talon, but it’s unknown if he knows that they assassinated Mondatta.
We know he’s close with Zenyatta so by default, he must have been close with Mondatta as well.
Not sure if he also listens to the band “the police” though…

Ah cmon dont worry, it’ll just be an additional 30$ per mission. Oh and the rest will come out in a few more seasons (stay tuned, 5 more $).
They likely won't be meaningless, just demonstrative of what we are missing with no PvE and that will likely make people more disappointed.

Props to that omnic in the blue sweater. Dude seems to be going out of his way to try to protect people, even putting himself in danger. Also, I like the idea of Bastion being a good guy in this, since Rammatra probably would expect him to join his side.
All that said, I'm not getting my hopes up. Blizzard has been disappointing their fans plenty lately. I'm going in with cautious optimism.

Yeah, it goes to show that anyone can become a hero in Overwatch. That trailer with the two young brothers at the museum proved that. Also, Bastion is kind, pacifistic individual at heart who loves nature despite being built to hurt and kill.
pretty sure the only ones fighting by ram's side are his 'stupid bots' (non sentient nulltrooper bots) that really don't get a choice in the matter, a diehard group of extremist omnic supporters and (what is probably gonna be) enslaved omnics (i'd presume that's what the devices they stick onto unwilling omics do), most omnics probably reject null sector for the extremist terrorists they are

I will be surprised if Ramattra's main goal is to create an Omnic Nation (similar to Magneto's Genosha) and is using the Null Sector attacks to prove his military strength. Also, Ramattra is not the only Omnic in the war. There are many Omnics across the globe in locations, such as London, that are fighting Omnic prejudice and persecution following either Mondatta or Ramattra's way. The difference is that Ramattra doesn't care if Omnics will hate him for what he is doing. If he has to be a villain or a devil, so be it.
Ramattra's kill dialogue for Doomfist says, "Your scheme ends." This indicates that Ramattra will turn his armies against Talon. It is like saying, "Thank you for the money and the support. Since you are untrustworthy, I have to kill you." There is also the possibility Maximillien might be Ramattra's spy in the organization. Maximillien giving up Doomfist indirectly led to a Talon coup, led by Doomfist, to kill the corrupt rich members of Talon (ex. Vialli). This cut Talon's leadership in half, weakening Talon yet not problematic for Doomfist. Plus, Maximillien told Doomfist in an Overwatch 2 cutscene that he wants out of Talon's current mission (Second Omnic Crisis), with Doomfist dismissing Max's hesitation.
Genji knows Ramattra because his master Zenyatta, as we know it, is Ramattra's brother and former student. In other words, Genji might know what Ramattra is doing which indicates Genji saying, "There might be more to the attacks than we think." This is why I am most excited about the Genji and Zenyatta chapter for Overwatch 2. They might talk about Ramattra and what the Null Sector's long-term goals are. Ramattra is not an idiot, he is a military strategist who knows how to play his cards right. During that chapter, there were some unfinished cutscenes of Talon, sending Sombra, Widowmaker, and Talon forces, to capture Zenyatta, possibly to have leverage over Ramattra, since they might have lost control over Null Sector. This is interesting because Ramattra really cares about Zenyatta and would go berserk if his brother gets killed.
Overall, omnics in cities, except Numbani, are treated as low-class citizens and slaves. I suspect and hope Overwatch 2 will end with Talon's defeat and Ramattra getting what he wants in the long run: humanity has to treat omnics better or it is mutually assured destruction. Talon's defeat might be on Ramattra's terms. I theorize Ramattra will use his tank form to publicly humiliate Doomfist and release documents on Talon's crimes and how many powerful world figures were on Talon's payroll or membership. This would make Null Sector's chances easier by having humanity turn against each other.
If you are thinking why Ramattra is red, not blue. I think it is a color choice to signal his declaration of war. Ramattra has no ties to Anubis because he did tell Pharah in a dialogue that she and Helix Forces should have destroyed Anubis, not imprisoned it, much to Pharah's surprise.
I think it’s the other way around. Ramattra knows Talon is trying to double cross him, and is going to kill them after his invasion. Yet I think after Ram’s boss battle he’ll step forward and suddenly die as Doom rips out his wires or something, revealing Talon as the puppet master. On Maximillion he has a line from a trailer saying “I can’t do this anymore” implying he can’t bare to see Talon carry on manipulating omnics. I also have a theory he might be The Anubis Program, as he has red sensors instead of blue, which indicates he is either being controlled by or is a god program. I think that not only is he Talon’s money man, but he’s also their manipulator-able to control Rammattra without him knowing ut

@@Turret3471 Actually as a matter of fact it IS officially dying and they had to shut down the OW league and put the game on steam to try and rescue it from the horrible state its currently in. How does it relate to the gameplay? Most likely the fact that the gameplay has not moved an inch in the right direction since 2016 and has barely changed at all except a few maps or heroes that btw could have easily been added in overwatch 1 in regular patch notes. The only good reason why OW2 should exist is its amazing PvE campaign content... oh wait!

This is really sad when you realize that this is literally going to be a bite-size story mission.
i wonder how many months for next year will players have to wait for the next set of 2 or 3 missions, i bet it’ll take about 4 to 7 months for next year, sure players get 3 missions this month, but it’ll probably be 1 or 2 missions on the next release with quality dropped, the 3 missions have got a lot of the quality from it removed already not just the replay value. Not to mention if game journalists,early access influencers, and the other game devs took 30 mins of gameplay overall to finish per mission then more seasoned players will just finish them 20 mins or lower. (without adding in cinematics time) Save your money folks, waiting for multiple months over 1 to 3 mission chapters isn’t worth it. There are better indie game deals and bundles that are definitely worth the $15 and $5 price tag, $5 for one mission chapter isn’t worth it when the gameplay is 20 mins or lower, the devs confirmed it that they won’t be adding the replay-able mission versions with talent trees of any amount, just watch full play-through videos on youtube of the mission chapters with no commentaries on august 10.

I hope they one day make a sequel focused on PvE, it would be so fun!
