- Walter Iooss Jr has long been deemed one of the greatest photographers of all time. From his early Sport Illustrated photos of Jim Brown, to his intimate looks at Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, his photographs transcend a generation, and is now widely looked at as some of the most influential photographers ever. Was Michael Jordan the goat? Perhaps. But Walter Iooss Jr was certainly one of the best to do it with a camera, ever.

I gotta get a book of his now. I've been shooting a lot of boxing lately. I think I've found a cheat sheet. Great stuff Keaton.
How have I never heard of this photographer before?! His work is some of the most stunning imagery I have ever seen. Amazing tribute to this incredible artist. Thanks for sharing this, great stuff
Considering that a lot of pictures were shot on film, that’s magic!
Walter Looss and Neil Leifer are hands down the greatest documentary sports photographers to ever live
When I was a member of APA in Milwaukee we had a meeting one time and one of the Milwaukee shooters there was hired to shoot Reggie Jackson. He took 3 photos and Reggie walked up to the camera and put his hand over the lens and said, "I get 3 tries, so do you." And that was the end of that shoot.
