Nearly fell off my chair when I saw the price of the hairloss hat! Hope it works! I have fine hair that's now thinning 😢 It's hard to accept along with all the other symptoms of aging. I'm losing myself 😢
Yes, I know they are expensive. But for many people if it works it's cheaper than a transplant and non invasive. I'm lucky to have been gifted this I realise. xx
Love the skirt with trainers look too. Very comfortable.
Thank you very much xx
Congratulations Helen on your 20,000 subs. and congratulations on your lovely caravan, we absolutely loved our van, but sadly we had to sell it as during lockdown my Hubby lost his sight, and so had to sell the van and his car that towed it, so sad, we had plans for retirement to stay away for weeks at a time in summer, we loved it so much, so the point of me telling you is enjoy every minute, I think you will have 5:53 fabulous times, we have some great sites in UK, and we also took ours on the ferry to Isle of Wight 3 times. I can’t wait to see and hear about your adventures in your lovely caravan. I just knew you’d get one after I saw how disappointed you didn’t get the other one. 👏🏼👏🏼😊x
Ah, that's sad, sorry to hear that. But glad that you had some fabulous times to look back on. I always say you never know when is the last time. xx
I sympathize Helen, I lost huge amounts of hair in my late 40’s early 50’s because of perimenopause, at 54 it’s settled down now but my Dermatologist recommended a special hair mousse ( like Regain) but it contained Minoxidil which made my scalp bleed and so I couldn’t use it! It was very distressing but my Dr told me that Women rarely lose all of their hair. I know it’s not much help but to us viewers your hair looks lovely and if you hadn’t had said anything we would never have known. Sending big reassuring hugs to you x.
Thank you. I'm very lucky that I had a lot of hair to begin with, so it's not as bad as it could be. Obviously, when you're offered a device like this to try, it would be daft not to. xx
The cashmere shawl really stole your heart. Someone is going to be very lucky to receive such a beautiful gift
I was thinking about that too.
I had very bad hair loss after the stress of an operation followed by a serious infection. I have been taking Biotin (from Boots or Amazon,) for over a year now. My hair has regrown, and it is healthier and thicker. I don't think that contraption can harm you, but be very careful, please, Helen. Anna-Marie x
PS I am in love with the ring shawl!😍
Thank you xx
That shawl is literally a work of art... stunning.
Loving the cardigan looks great on you, Helen.
Love Dolly wandering around on the runway. 😂
Thank you as always for sharing Helen. 😊❤
My pleasure, thank you xx
I love both looks on you, the first is very sophisticated and the second more casual but smart.
Thank you very much xx
Also love love love the cardigan! Can’t believe it’s so cheap and from primary! Also liked the white jumper, but in contrast the value for the cardigan is so worth it. Thank you Helen xx
Gorgeous shawl, loved the gold cardigan and the way you styled it, trainers for me 100%, I have osteoarthritis in both knees and trainers are so comfortable and supportive ❤x
Yes, I live in them. Thank you xx
Love the cardigan! With the skirt and trainers looks summer comfortable to me. I'm not a big fan of trainers as far as the way it looks, BUT my back problems love the way they wear! As with many of the changes that living this long brings I adapt.
You are an inspiration and I look forward to your videos!
Thank you very much xx
Love the gold cardigan, looked really great with the skirt, jumper and trainers 😊
Thank you!! 😊 xx
Hooray I’m the first to tell you thanks for all your creative positivity and joy!
Ah, thanks Sandee xx
I started losing a lot of hair when the menopause really kicked in (I was lucky and was 50 at the time, and hadn't suffered any other obvious symptoms). This thinned my hair out quite a lot - after a lifetime of my incredibly thick spirally curly black (dyed now). It was really hard to cope - my hair always attracted positive attention from so many lovely, supportive other women. As it was for you, it's literally was crowning glory. Watermans shampoo and conditioner definitely helped regrowth, and it improved a lot. Then covid hit. My 16 yr old daughter and I experienced the weirdest side-effect of losing over half of our hair (2/3rds for me😢) within the same month. My hair looked like 'little old lady candy floss'- and my lovely, poor Eva had dreadful bald patches. I had to have my hair tied back for about 9 months, as did Eva, as we worked on finding something that helped (including us both using hair pieces 😮). What we found was a combination of higher strength biotin and the Waterman's range really helped - much more quickly than i expected. It took almost a year but we've both got our thick tresses back! I've worked out our regimen was a lot cheaper than if we'd bought the Elite device - the products went a long way, and the biotin wasn't expensive. I thought id describe our journey as a possible alternative to using the device. I'm not saying it will work for everyone, but it worked for a 16 year old and a 54 year old, which was an interesting juxtaposition.I still take biotin as hair shedding is still worse at times than it used to be, but regrowth isn't too bad to cope with now, knowing it'll regrow.
I love your channel dearly, Helen. You are eminently relatable and engaging, and you have beautiful taste! ❤
Thank you very much. Glad you found something that helped. I'll be giving this a good go, but if it doesn't work I'll be sure to look into these tips xx
Hi Helen, that is a very beautiful shawl! So special! X
It really is. xx
I love your video’s Helen you are a blast of fresh air. Love the skirt and cardigan x
Thank you very much xx
Really good video Helen love the looks with the cardigan ❤❤
Thank you xx
Love the long cardigan with the skirt and trainer, looks great Helen! 👍💖
Thanks so much 😊 xx
Hi Helen thanks for the video. Hope you get some positive results with your hair. You made me smile about your blister. I wore some new trainers recently believing they’d be super comfy. Omg I got the blister from hell and had a wedding to go to a few days later wearing sling backs ! Fortunately those special blister plasters did the trick! X
They are great aren't they. Blisters are the worst! xx
Hi Helen. I think the long cardigan would look lovely in a cool summer evening over a long light dress, or white linen trouser and best top. 👍
I agree, I've kept it xx
Helen I love that long cardigan……so versatile for the summer! I really liked it with white under! I’m a massive fan of the trainer look and having Parkinson’s means that these days I’m too unsteady with any kind of heel so it’s wonderful to still feel stylish in my footwear lol!
Good luck with the hair loss! Oh, and the cashmere scarf was stunning…..absolutely fabulous! Xx
Thank you so much! xx
Love the video Helen shawl and cardigan is beautiful and looks great with trainers. Love Dolly walking through too ❤
Thanks so much 😊 xx
Love the long cardigan with skirt/ trainers
Thank you xx
Gorgeous scarf such beautiful colours.Cardigan looks good on you too.Interested to hear more about the restoring hair device 👍.
Yes, they'll be follow up videos xx
The cardi looked fab with the skirt/trainer combo 💕
Thank you xx
I loved the gold sweater with the white top and floral skirt. Wearing the trainers was a perfect choice!
Thank you very much xx
Hi Helen, I think the cardigan with the skirt & trainers look lovely together & I agree the cardigan would look nice with white too! There has been some lovely things in Primark of late, I bought the Natural coloured cardigan you showed in the recent Primark haul you did & I'm very pleased with it. The Cashmere shawl is beautiful too!! Lovely to see you & always look forward to watching your Videos 💜 XX
Oh thank you! xx
Love the cardigan with the lighter colours and yrs, it would look great with white linen trousers. Very interesting video Helen. Looking forward to updates on your hair / helmet…beam me up Scottie! X
Haha, all I need now is a time machine! xx
Hi Helen, the shawl was stunning!! Loved the long gold cardigan, I agree with you, white jeans or white linen wide leg trousers and a plain white top worn undernearh would look very expensive and chic!! I'm team trainers with everything! Xx❤
Thanks so much! xx
Love the look
Thank you xx
Loved the shawl very lucky recipient. Omg the cardigan fab how versatile. Loved it with the black shirt and trousers loved it with the skirt and it will look great with white pants and top. Very good price. Wish we had primark in Australia thanks for sharing Helen take care.
My pleasure, thank you xx
Hi Helen, enjoyed as always. Good luck with the I Restore, will follow your progress with interest as one of my sons could be interested. Loved the cardigan with black and also white or cream. I bought two long cardigans from M & S - one in cream and one in camel, with pockets and love them.🏴xx cashmere shawl will be the best present ever for your friend xx
I will be doing follow up videos, it's a long term project.
Thank you very much xx
Love the cardigan looks great on you. Sitting on the fence with the hair loss hat. Obviously you get these things to try so I suppose why not, but if these things worked I feel there would t be anyone with thinning hair. I too lost loads of hair like yourself and had masses of hair. It’s age menopause, medications etc. it’s hard to accept when your hair is your crowning glory, but like everything else, things change as we get older. I hope you have success with it. X
Thank you, and of course I'm lucky. But I think it is relatively new technology and like everything they'll probably get cheaper, if they work that is! xx
Helen, please get your thyroid levels checked. I have been through the same shedding experience and it was my throid. 🎉🎉
I will, if I ever get to a Dr xx
The shawl is beautiful. The colours are gorgeous. The cardigan is such a lovely colour. Xxxxxx
Thank you! 😊 xx
That cardigan looks great helen with a lot of things like you have proven x
Ah, thank you xx
The long card is just lovely. Especially with the lighter outfit and I agree it would look special with white. You with that cap on your head ... ha ha made my day x
Thank you so much! xx
Hi Helen loved the video. 😊 I actually went to Primark in town today and bought the long gold cardigan ☺️ I love it . Very reasonably priced . Thanks Helen x❤
Lovely! xx
The Long Cardigan is excellent value for the money. The Laser Cap looks interesting. Need to research that more. It was a good haul Helen.
Thank you very much xx
Loved the skirt and cardigan combo also like them with trainers will drop hints to my husband about the shawl 🤞❤
They are so beautiful, I'd love one myself. I'd consider it an heirloom xx
Good idea! They really are beautiful xx
Helen… I am 65 with fine hair. But did have lots of it. For months I lost tons of hair. I dreaded washing it.
A month ago I started using the CHAMPO range for hair loss. My husband treated me to the starter kit.
Well, the difference in loss is unbelievable. I kid you not. I am one happy nanny!! I have since ordered more as I don’t want to run out. It is sulphate free. I think that is the key!! 💕
That’s interesting thanks
That's good to hear. Thank you xx
I was there too. Afraid to wash my hair. ABsolute chunks went down the drain. resorted to wigs but I did find Irestore shampoo and conditioner did give my hair better condition but I will try the champo range now. Thanks for mentioning them.
Sounds good, going to give it a try .Thank you
Oh that cashmere shawl is so beautiful, just had a look at the site, spoilt for choice,I might just have to treat myself ❤
They are so beautiful, so warm yet fine. I honestly love them. There is a pink one on their website that I am coveting... xx
Looking forward to hearing how the LED cap works - do keep us updated!!
I am devastated by my hair loss, it’s front and centre of my hair and, as you said, my hair has always been my crowning glory. It is worth every penny if it works, so my fingers are crossed that it’s good news! I’ll happily invest.
I agree. I will be doing follow up videos, so it will be interesting to see. I'm as sceptical as the next person, but it has good reviews, so we'll see xx
Very nice, Helen ❤
Thank you! 😊 xx
Stunning shawl. That's a lifetime one.
It is. Thank you xx
Loved it! 😍
Thank you!! 😊 xx
HB Lovely, expensive things to start with! I do hope the new gadget helps with your hair. The Primark cardi is lovely, but as I am about 5foot nothing(I used to be 5’4” but have shrunk with old age), I think it would follow me like a train! Thanks for the video, Helen x
Thank you. The cardi is very long it's true.... I wouldn't want it to be trailing on the ground.... haha xx
Love the skirt cardie combo xx
Thank you!! xx
Love the cardi on you looks elegant with the back. Thank you for sharing 😊
Thanks so much! 😊 xx
The hair issue is real. Hair and nail supplements are where I'm starting. Another varied vlog which I enjoy. Noticing you're not as vigorous in your Hel's Belles "hello" - as one who considers myself to be one, I, for one, will not mind if you drop it, as I sense you may want to?!
I will explain in another video... Thank you xx
My hair folicles have died so my hair is very see through unfortunately. Thanks for showing it though it may help someone else.
That cardi would be on the floor for me but you carry it well Helen. I quite like the skirt and lightweight top with it and i love the trainer look as well.xx
So sorry about your hair, it's frustrating isn't it. Thank you very much xx
Thanks Helen. I think white trainers look great with everything. Comfort is the key for me. I thought the cardigan was excellent but I couldn’t wear it being only 5ft 2inches! I think you do have a point about whether you would wear it but ,at that price, why not. I don’t know ,is it the weather. I find I either wear a warm top or something light if it’s warm. Cardigans get in the way 🫤😀. Take care.
Thank you, I'm back in my cashmere jumper today, it's so chilly! xx
Cardigan looks fabulous, suits you.❤
Oh thank you! xx
Oh my, I know exactly what you mean about thinning hair. I used to have thick glossy hair that I shed all over the place but now I’ve got exactly what you are experiencing.
I think it's a post menopause/age thing xx
Hello Helen,,About 4 years ago I start loosing my hair near the front edge of my head.Helen I was panicked I immediately start taking Biotin 5000 mcg within 3 to 4 months my hair looked much fuller I still take them and at 76 Have a full head of hair.I wish you much success may your hair come back even better than you wish..Love the long cardigan you look stunning in both outfits. Only you could wear a helmet and still look fashionable. ❤
Ah, thank you Joan xx
Helen I can only image how that beautiful cashmere made your heart sing as it is making my heart sing way over in Canada. I am obsessed with beautiful scarves. Never leave the house without one.😅 Thanks for sharing
My pleasure, thank you xx
Lovely video Helen ,I love the shawl I’m a scarf and shawl lady so I get it .I like the skirt and runner look but I haven’t worn it myself .I’m still here Helen mammy and baby came home today .He is the smallest little man at 5 lb 4 ozs but very alert and wirey .I’m not quite sure if I’ll ever get home at this stage I’m here 13 days now but thank god .Anyhow we will see how the ball bounces I’m just so thrilled it’s all over thank god .Thank you for a lovely vlog looking forward to the next as usual XX C
So glad that it all ended well. You must be exhausted! You'll be glad to get home for a rest! Congratulations, new babies are so special xx
Love the skirt and tee shirt with the long cardigan.x❤
Thank you xx
Both looks with the cardigan look great Helen. Does the off white V neck jumper long sleeves? 😊
Yes it does! xx
Thank you Helen. Slight aside from this video, but just wondering if you have any recommendations or suggestions for sourcing a large silk scarf, that has the print strong through back and front sides? I have been checking on Vinted but no joy. Just curious as you had mentioned silk scarves on one of your recent blogs… and wondered if you have any tips? xxx
I saw this on facebook and it looks interesting. The nearly new cashmere company has silk scarves x
Hi Helen, I would try anything if my hair was falling out, like you my hair is my pride and joy! Be interested to see the results. I love the cashmere scarf absolutely beautiful I would be over the moon if someone had gifted that to me. Look forward to the next video. Xxxx
Thank you very much xx
I love the skirt with the long cardigan helen.just love trainers with dresses s ooo comfy x
Thank you very much xx
Gosh you’ve made me spend money 😂, just been to the black website and ordered two of their Sil and cashmere scarves! Will let you know how I get on with them and thank you !
They are really lovely, I hope you enjoy them too xx
Hi Helen, my hairs been coming out too lately, people say it looks thick but it’s worrying so today I’ve ordered Regaine from Boots. I’m a hairdresser (still) xx
Hope it works for you xx
Really hope the Elite Device works for you. Your hair is so beautiful.
That's very kind, thank you xx
Great video!
Thank you xx
Hi Helen , my mother used to shed so much hair she had a small bald patch near her fringe but since she has been on prescription vitamin D3 for her bones all her hair has grown back and looks so healthy . Also Dr Organics hair repair shampoo is amazing x
That's great to hear. Glad she found something that worked. I think it's very hard for women to lose their hair. xx
Hi Helen, hope the helmet does the trick for you. Loved loved loved the shawl I think I could possibly guess who the shawl was for, perhaps not. The gold long cardigan is beautiful as well looked lovely with the black outfit.❤️❤️
Thank you very much xx
Helen this is my story. I have used another make, hair max, which does the same thing. I went to a tricilogist, best money I spent. You have to look at diet, lifestyle etc.. do you take collagen? Also silica tablets were recommended by my GP. But please please read the instructions properly, my hair max is only to be used every other day, and I have been using it for years now, with great results. I am not sure lending to other people would work, it’s a continuous treatment. Sorry to go on, but I could have done your vlog. Any questions just ask. Sue
Thanks Sue, that's interesting xx
Essentially if anyone's serious about trying to find solutions for their own particular hairloss issue they do need to get a proper diagnosis. I wasted a ton of money before eventually being told I have both telogen effluvium (where the turnover rate of the hair is faster than it should be) plus a scarring type of alopecia so that my hairline has receded and the hair will never grow back. It's pointless me spending any more money on possible remedies though I do spend hundreds on my wig collection lol!
@@essanjay8604 If mine was really bad, I would do exactly that. I'm lucky inasmuch as I have a lot of hair already. I bet it's quite nice deciding 'who' you are going to be on any given day. xx
Hi Helen, loved the cardigan looked so classy with the black outfit then with the skirt and trainers look good for though out the day.i have had hair loss since having COVID also going though menopause it is very distressing iv never had thick hair but had enough to style but the last two year it as become so fine in January of this year i started to use rosemary oil in a carrier oil 3 times a week i put it on my scalp and rub in for about five mins leave it over 3 hours i normally do it on a night and wash it out on a morning with a rosemary shampoo then conditioner for the ends it now four months and i have got so much baby hair growning it's about a inch and a half long now things do take time to work as hour hair only grows half and inch a month hope this help someone there is so many ladys that lose hair as they age.thank you for the vlog ❤😊
Thank you. Sounds like you've found a good solution. I'll be doing follow up videos so it will be interesting to see xx
Hi Helen, I never really look at my receding hairline. I guess if I don’t see I won’t stress 😳🙄 As always a lovely selection of clothing. The cardigan would be a dressing gown on me being 5ft haha. It’s just suits you Helen, most things do. The shawl is the star of the show, fabulous, may pop over and have a look. Take care and see you soon xx
Thank you very much xx
Loved the cardigan and a good price. Saw a very similar one from Sosander that was priced at £65.
Thank you xx
Gorgeous shawl love the cardigan if not so long Iam only 5 ft white top is so smart 😊
Thank you very much xx
Love that cardi. You’ll be sorry if you took it back. So versatile.
I've kept it.... haha xx
Looking good Helen! ❤❤Kathy from Pennsylvania USA 😊😊😊
Thanks Kathy from Pennsylvania! xx
Hello Helen. Just to say that the length of your hair is lovely. You look so much more attractive with shorter hair.x
Thank you so much xx
Hi Helen my hair is thinning in the same place interesting topic Thanks xx
You are so welcome xx
Compeed blister plasters are miraculous for your feet..worth every penny x
They are and that's what I used... xx
Rogaine foam for women (5%) works very well for me! I tried red light and it didn't do much. I put the rogaine foam on three sections of the top of my head using a comb to make the parts and go to bed. Shampoo or rinse in the morning and style.
Thank you, that's interesting xx
I absolutley adore Irestore's shampoo and conditioner. It leaves my hair silky smooth and after my chemo a couple of years ago its been tough to get my hair into a good condition again. it went dry and thin and frizzy . Irestore shampoo and conditioner has been wonderful. I have the iRestore Pro and have shared it on my channel but explained that I didn't use it to get my hair back.
Oh, that's interesting, thank you xx
Hi Helen
My hair was as thick as mine when I was in my 40s but since I retired from wok ( deemed unfit to work by DWP ) and other auto immune disorders. Tbh I would rather ask my gp if it was safe to use it. I love that cardigan myself and it looks good on you.
All the best Rhian x
Thank you very much xx
It will be interesting to hear your progress with the I Restore. Quite an investment though! Meanwhile I have had a good result with taking collagen (at the great age of 75). My hairdresser has noticed the difference. My hair has thinned in similar areas to yourself. I always refer to my hair as my crowning glory too. Apparently my nails have improved too….double whammy! I would love the gold long cardigan but a few inches shorter than you so feel I would be dragging i5 behind me…great shame. Such a bargain and looks far more expensive! The shawl is exquisite and is going to make one lucky person so very happy! XxLiz
Thank you very much xx
Helen u picked one of the best things from the rita ora rainge .all i got was the denim waist coat ...my hair has always been corse .thick and so heavy..iv noticed more hair loss has im getting older .im just more gently with it .less breakages..no hair dryer. On use a tooth comb .but my style is long .lot of people say get it cut . Im not ready to part with it yet haha .if it works for u ...i prefare natural uv . Good old bit off sunshine .lifts every thing .thank u for shareing sue
I say, you do you. Whatever makes you happy works xx
Thank you for sharing. Definitely get your thyroid levels checked.
Thank you, I will xx
The cardigan (coatigan) looks lovely on you with the black clothes, it wouldnt look good on me being as i am only 5ft 1". I have been struggling to find a dressing gown at the moment as they must use 6ft tall models for the ones at the shops.
Oh dear. I live in my fleece hooded 'dressing gown' so much easier than a traditional gown. xx
Hope for the laser to work. Since around 3 years now im shedding. Unfortunately i ever had coarse hair, thin flimsy. And it get thinner every week. This seems a little to expensive for me though. Have to not blow it or use electric tools. Just dry as it is. Liked the cardigan but to long for me. 5 ,3. Thanks as always nice with a chat
Thank you very much xx
Good old fadhioned castor oil. Rub into scalp until it heats up. Leave over night. My hair grew 3inch in first month. I have natural curly hair
Thanks for sharing, that sounds great xx
I too had thick head hair! I started going bald downstairs 😂 & under arms. Gyno said normal & luckily my head hair seems to have slowed down shedding. Before meno it was coarser/curly now it’s silver, fine & STRAIGHT. Looks quite nice. ❤.
Haha, as long as you're happy with it, that's all that counts. xx
I have used Waterman's Grow Me shampoo and conditioner and it has really helped. Lost hair due to stress-related happenigs. After several shampooings the hair loss stopped. Hair has grown back around the temples. I would highly recommend. I'd also recommend ff you want moe volume, Rahua volume shampoo and conditioner. This is the best volume combo I've found. Pricey, but worth it.
Good to know! Thank you xx
Prefer the cardigan with the skirt and trainers 👌 x
Thank you xx
The sleeves look a little baggy at the front of the long, gold cardigan Helen. Maybe you could try a medium size (if it’s back in stock in your local store) Really like how you styled it with the trainers and skirt! 😊
Thank you xx
I had a problem over a few years with hair loss, and it is really stressful. I didn't want to touch it, so none of it would fall out. After finding a great hairdresser, she said that it was likely hormonal (it turned out I was in peri-menopause, and that was the reason) and recommended taking a Biotin supplement. I have been taking it daily since, and it truly has been amazing. I also use castor oil on my hairline and face, encouraging hair growth. I know there are great options, including the LED light, that will help maintain a healthy 'mane' of hair. x
Glad you found a solution. Thank you xx
Glad you found a solution. Thank you xx
Hi Helen I take vit biotin for hair loss and think it does helps
Thanks, a few people have mentioned that. xx
Love the trainer and skirt look 🖕
Also as someone with an under active thyroid which does affect my hair. The Cornish Seaweed and Bath co. Their seaweed shampoo is lush. Smells devine. After about a month or just over my hair was, I think (and others confirmed) was looking thicker and fuller. X
That's great, thank you xx
I love the cardigan on you , I tried it on in store and it looked ridiculous on me it swept the floor 😂 but I am only barely 5ft oh well 😅
Yes, it is very long... xx
P.S. I get emotional round beautifully crafted things too. Absolutely no need to apologise It really was beautiful and the recipient will be very lucky.
I lost alot of hair after weight loss surgery. I used mens regaine hair mousse but half the amount. My hair is now back to normal.
That's great, glad you found something that worked xx
Interesting gadget. Looking forward to seeing the results.
That cardigan is very nice.Probably too long for my short aspen.
What do you think of this. I was looking at gold sandals in New Look. They were very nice. However, they came in Small,Medium and Large.What?. Thats grazy. They are actual sandals. Sort of espadrilles. Not flipflops or slippers. 😂
Haha, that is bonkers! How on earth can that work? They'll be in the Sale! xx
Helen I’ve lost half my hair since having Covid,my hair is so fragile it’s the breakage round my hairline .I have been using a mixture of products and vitamins ,if you’d like to know more maybe messsag me privately,by the way my hair has begun to thicken again
That's good to hear. I'll give this a go and see how I get on, I have follow up videos to do too, so we'll see xx
Biotin is the best thing plus a regular use of good hair products that strengthen the hair bonds
Thank you xx
Love that cardi on you !!!!!!
Thank you xx
