    I was thinking about putting one in the back seats of my polaris ranger. Like how it has a A/C fan. Great vids, keep up the great content.

    You may look at putting it up top facing your windshield. I’m getting one mainly to defrost windshield. Extra heat is always a plus.

      Yeah I thought about doing that for defrosting windshield.

    Full Throttle thank you for the heads up or different point of view , since you’ve had experience with this item.
    I’ve seen a couple of different mods that use about the same amount of $, using a fan too pull the heat from the engine. Any thoughts on that, one Brother.

      I have a turbo heater great on slow trail riding anything at 30 mph it's useless

    I picked up this same model for 12 bucks to go in my ranger. Unless you’ve got a cab it’s not going to put out enough heat to matter. I’ve got soft doors on mine and it puts out enough just to knock the chill out of the air but it’s not going to keep you warm when it’s really cold out.

    How does the heater hold up ? For heat and defrosting window ?

    • @UTVDIRT
      @UTVDIRT  Před 2 lety

      Its good for defrosting window but it wont heat your cab. Wish they made a bigger one.

    Ever consider heated seats? They are pretty cheap now at roughly 30 bucks a seat and include all wiring and low med high switches .

      @UTVDIRT  Před 3 lety +1

      @@UTVDIRT Fairly easy install on an x3 and affordably replaced if one of the pads fail. On snowy or drizzly days they are a blessing from god himself when you get back in the usually freezing x3. Clean up isn't bad as all x3 owners know the seats are always the cleanest parts of the vehicle after a ride. Definitely make a how to video on the install. 👍😎👍

    • @UTVDIRT
      @UTVDIRT  Před 3 lety

      You could probably use it for defrost to if you mount it up by the windshield. When I get my upper soft doors I will know more and give final review. Thanks for watching!

    Those heaters are junk...not sure how urs turned out..hopefully better than my experience..but I've bought 2 of em n within a week they burned up n was junked in the trash...1x I got one to help heat the cab in my 18 wheeler from a truck stop...n then 1 from somewhere else to help heat my sxs like u did..n actually less than a week it was junk n in the trash it went like the 1st!! Hopefully it's lasted longer..but I'll never buy another!!
