Fade your blue hair with dandruff shampoo until it won't lighten anymore (take your time with this within a span of a week/2 weeks). If it comes out green, tone it with greens opposite (red) with either a toner or temporary red dye mixed with conditioner. I faded my purple until a yucky blue/green and was told to do that but 45mins with baking soda/dandruff shampoo/dish soap and purple shampoo got out the rest (believe it or not, the purple shampoo toned out the yellow instead of helping the blue/green color and it came out to the color I bleached it to before coloring)

So the chemistry is a bit weird with your combo. My understanding is that the Vit C works cause it’s an acid. So by adding baking soda aka sodium bicarbonate you are neutralizing that acid to become neutral or basically water. So I would recommend either the Vit C or baking soda and not both. But if it works then maybe the formulation is still acidic enough and the dandruff shampoo is doing the heavy lifting.

For me personally I would do a mild bleach bath over using colorzap. I used colorzap once and it really damaged my hair (on blue hair btw so you know I was struggling to get that color out). Colorzap didn’t remove the blue much at all. The second time I was trying to remove the blue (this is a completely different time after the first time. I dyed my hair blue again cause I like blue hair XD)I just did a bleach bath but I diluted the bleach w a lot of shampoo and conditioner. I would leave it in for like 10-15 minutes and wash it out. I had to do the bleach bath two times to get it back to blonde but it didn’t damage my hair nearly as much as it did when I used colorzap.

I wished I had tried Color Oops when trying to get the red out of my hair. My hair is surprisedly still really healthy but I could not for the life of me get the red out (the brand was Lime Crime). I put purple on top of that (Lime Crime again) and when I tried to remove both colors, I ended up having to bleach my hair twice (bleached my hair four times to get the red out and it's still there with the purple as well). I just put green on top and it worked out fine (it's a blue-based green so it cancelled out all the brassy undertones). Lime Crime, for my hair, is the best with not washing out. The green that I have had for like two months now is starting to wash out but the red I had for four months did not wash out until I washed my hair twice a day.

Color oops is my lifesaver. I’ve used it for years. Only problem I ever had was when I used it on Joico fuchsia and magenta, it turned my hair teal and blue but that came out with a mild bleach bath. Blue was the most awful color to remove. I had a dark sapphire blue. 3 bleach baths, and color oops only got it to a light mint color. I finally used straight 30v with bleach. I tried color correcting with pink before the 30v with bleach, since I was going to color brown anyway, but nope. It was then mint and pink. I ended up having to cut almost 2 inches off my already shoulder length hair. I’m still growing out that beautiful chemical haircut a year later. Next time I want blue hair, I’m buying a wig.

Equal parts purple shampoo, baking soda, dandruff shampoo, dawn, and 10vol. Applied first to dry hair and it worked WONDERS, I just watched until I saw it lighten to where I needed it (around 15-20 min). Rinsed and it was almost entirely removed except for a couple of spots. Reapplied to those spots first on damp hair then worked in the rest over the other areas after a few minutes. It worked SO WELL.
Dry as hell but I’m using a color-depositing conditioner so that’s fine.

I would not recommend using it on direct dyes, it was just more of a hassle to overcome.
