Noted for next time, thank you!! A tip is that the skirt self fabric is the one that you gathered and the lining is the one that you didn’t, hope that helps :)
I would go two inches down on the side seams and place inseam pockets & have it site in between the self and the lining! You can find inseam pocket patterns online :)

You need 1 1/2 yards for the self and 1 yard for lining for any fabric that has 54-60” width!
