Made this today. Delicious!! I did melt 2 sticks of butter to use in place of the vegetable oil & I did add 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. I used Honeycrisp apples & grated one & rough chopped the other two. It was fantastic! Also tried his parchment paper method for the pans. It works!! And thanks for the room temperature explanation of ingredients.
